1 Thessalonians 5:3 “When
they are saying, Peace and safety,
then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child;
and they shall in no wise escape.”
Greetings brethren, friends and neighbors,
The first part of this Scroll was penned prior to my leaving for Israel and it
would seem my concerns are well founded. I really did have more faith in the
mature set of conservative Americans thinking there was no way Barack Obama
would be elected into office thinking that the majority of Americans care about
the Constitution of the United States. Well, I stand corrected. By a narrow
margin, half of this country said “to
hell with the Constitution.” It would appear the voting power of America’s
liberal youth overpowered the conservative set and now the world is in for real
eye opening change. Life in America
is resembling Soddom and Gomorrah more and more these days and that
quite frankly scares the crap out of me. Our entire economy is buckling and the
feds seem more interested in helping out the elite classes who have performed
poorly with American resource and industry than the country’s backbone – the
working class. The last time I checked, poor performance warranted disciplinary
measures not reward. America
is in a downward spiral like one never before seen in our lifetimes and now the
US
is looking to Barack Obama to be its savior. Pathetic!
After seeing so much death personally this year and on so
many fronts it almost seems like a darkness set in on the eve of total Democrat
control in all three houses of US Government. True Americans, Patriots and the
God-fearing should all be flying their flags at half mast daily in
mourning over the death of what was once called a "living document."
The US Constitution was trampled on yet again and no one seemed to care. Barack
Obama was not constitutionally qualified to take Office of the President
because he is not a "natural born
citizen." The Constitution spells it out clearly in "black and
white." (No pun intended) This is an OUTRAGE and those who know this have
the duty and responsibility to hold violators accountable.
While the media touts Barack Obama as the newly elected "leader of the free world" and
declare him as "the best thing for
this country inspiring hope and bringing about unity..." I cannot stop
thinking about how a critical requirement like proper citizenship can be
so easily overlooked? The following link provides updates on Obama’s

- New "Sexual
Orientation" Laws affecting Pastors, Churches,
Congregants, Businesses
- Same-Sex Unions: Sen. Obama favors full repeal of the Defense of Marriage Act,
which protects your state from forced recognition of Same-Sex
"Marriages" from other states where courts have ordered gay
marriage (MA, CA, CT).
- Expansion of Partial
Birth Abortion, a barbaric procedure which involves piercing the
skulls of babies during delivery.
Sen. Obama’s pending "Freedom of Choice Act" would sweep
away all restrictions on late-term abortions. Obama also favors federal taxpayer subsidies for abortion on demand
and opposes requiring that parents be notified prior to an abortion on their teenage
daughter.
- Full, open integration of flagrant homosexuals into U.S.
military barracks, forcing inappropriate same-sex
intimacy (bunks, bathing, etc.) on heterosexual soldiers.
- Possible permission of infanticide:
Sen. Obama voted repeatedly to kill Illinois equal protection for infants
who survive abortions. Infanticide of abortion
survivors was later banned by bipartisan agreement in Congress,
yet that ban is subject to repeal.

Canadian who couldn’t vote expresses my own sentiment, “Given the positions
on the 2 state "solution" proposed by the US State Department and
taken by the current administration, I would say that the U.S. is NOT
"Israel's best friend" -- I fear that under a democratic
administration that Israel will be forced to virtually give up its right as a
sovereign nation to defend itself - or at the very least the US will refuse to
support Israel financially or with provision of arms and equipment to defend
itself if Israel does not conform to the US's desires.”
Brother
in Christ, Steve Foss writes
about a “rage that would be unleashed
against those who oppose and stand in the way of Barack Obama's agenda. We are
already seeing the beginnings of this spirit manifested here in America.
The vicious attacks against Sarah Palin have been unlike anything we have ever
seen before. The sheer hate for this woman from people who knew nothing about
her, and who claim to stand up and protect the little people, and women, has
been shocking. We now see it with Joe the plumber. These
people who are under the influence of this demon spirit of rage desire to
completely destroy this man because he dared to question Barack Obama.
In fact it wasn't just the question; it was because Barack Obama revealed his
true agenda that Joe the plumber became a threat. So the supporters of Barack
Obama who had been fed and affected by the spirit of violence went into full
swing to destroy a fellow citizen; the very kind of person that Barack Obama
has been speaking about in his eloquent speeches, saying how he is the only
candidate fighting for them. I want to put this deep in your spirit. I am
speaking as a prophet. The words I'm about to tell you are "thus saith the
Lord". If Barack Obama is elected, the attacks against free speech,
against those who believe differently than he does, and the systematic use of
the government and laws to silence the voice of fundamental Christians will be
unlike anything ever seen in this nation before.”
This just in from UCI (Unity Coalition for Israel) date October 31, 2008 “It took over four
years for a secret tape to rock the Nixon Administration. A secret video tape
has started to be a problem for Barack Obama even before his potential election
as President. The difference is that this time the tape is being suppressed by
the media.
The video tape in question is one that was taken of the now infamous farewell
party for terrorism apologist Rashid Khalidi, which not only Barack and
Michelle Obama attended, but also William Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn. The LA
Times explains that it is refusing to release the tape because of a promise it
made to the naturally unnamed source that provided it.
“By all accounts, a video tape
of the farewell party would be devastating for Barack Obama's chances at the
Presidency. It would show the then Illinois State Senator listening attentively
as speaker after speaker rose up to denounce the State of Israel in the most
vicious ways imaginable. Then the future candidate himself rose up to praise
the terrorism apologist and former PLO propagandist Rashid Khalidi as he was
about to depart for his new post at Columbia
University....” “We understand that the tape is
presumably being suppressed by the LA Times because of a promise made to the
unnamed source that provided it. Of course the tape could very well be made
public without naming the source. It evidently records an inciting diatribe
presented to a like-minded audience. If this is not
the case, there could be no possible reason for withholding an innocent video
of an ordinary uneventful run-of-the-mill farewell event. Quite possibly it
provides vital incriminating evidence that should not have been
withheld from those who voted on
November 4.”

David Kupelian from the Jerusalem
Connection writes, “As Election Day rapidly approaches, many Americans are
wondering why so many of their countrymen reject a genuine war hero with
decades of experience, one whose pro-life, limited-government values pretty
much reflect those of Middle America. Instead, these same countrymen are
enthralled with a man who not only has no qualifications for the job, but who
is, in fact, the most radically left-wing major-party presidential candidate of
our lifetime, having been mentored and supported for decades by terrorists (Ayers),
communists (Davis), America-hating racists (Wright) and criminals (Rezko).
Doesn't make much sense, does it?
After all, in past presidential contests, Americans have
flatly rejected ultraliberal candidates like McGovern, Mondale and Dukakis and
those guys weren't nearly as radicalized as Obama, who the nonpartisan National
Journal rates as having the most left-wing voting record in the entire U.S.
Senate even more so than socialist Bernie Sanders! Moreover, recently it's been
proven, despite his campaign's denials that Obama was indeed a member of the
socialist "New Party." And Obama himself confesses that during his
college days he intentionally sought out Marxists as friends.”

Ron responding to another brother named Jim writes, “I forwarded four prophecies last
week. All four were likely legit, with two reservations about very
small subjects. In my comments, I encouraged all to continue to pray
after Nov. 4th, because God never gets in a hurry, yet He's always on time --
He doesn't abide by our schedules or timetables, as you
well know -- the events between now and Jan 20th could be
earth-shattering, which is why we MUST continue to pray. This is NOT a
done deal!
The citizenship
issue is still in the courts and could come to a head before Jan 20th that
would declare BO to not be constitutionally eligible for the office.
This should be an issue of prayer in itself!
We might look for
Israel to bomb Iran while GWB is still in office -- it's likely Israel was
awaiting the election results to make this decision -- with a closet Muslim in
the White House, Israel doesn't have a prayer, and as CINC, BO might join
Iran against Israel, should they bomb Iran's nuke facilities after Jan
20th! (But can the Israeli transition and Knesset coalition with a new PM
reach consensus about bombing Iran?
(Much debate and consternation there!) Iran
threatened last week to send all its missile arsenal on Great Britain and
Israel, should anyone bomb their nuke facilities. Another
subject of prayer.”
The National
Intelligence Director said last week on FOX news that intercepts and
intelligence from al Qaeda were whether to attack the U.S. "before or
after" America's elections, as if it's being debated by al Qaeda, but a
fait accompli. Another subject for prayer.
The President
of Russia,
Dmitri Medvedev, was saber rattling today with missile threats -- one day
after the elections to test BO with threats.
Some are
prophesying that something might happen to the president-elect prior to Jan
20th, resulting in a constitutional crisis never before encountered and
not covered in the Constitution -- this may be why
Hillary only "suspended" her campaign, in lieu of terminating her
campaign. Nobody voted for Biden as president, and he can't legally take
office until both are in office, should something happen to BO. (Given
the choice, Biden would be better for the office in lieu of a closet Muslim --
at least, Biden knows how to honor our flag and national anthem and is a
"bad" Catholic, not Muslim!) Congress would likely try to get
Biden in office by congressional mandate, but so far, Congress is not veto
proof -- not yet -- another reason to pray.
All the Arab
Muslim Middle East is celebrating BO's
win -- very similar to the dancing in the street on and after 9/11!
Some Muslim-African countries declared a national holiday today to
celebrate BO's victory.
If there is any
message to the church at large about the downward spiral of a once
Christian nation, the results of this election should be a wake-up call
with hard evidence! Based on the majority vote, America can
no longer claim to be a Christian nation! We're the minority
now!
Is it any wonder
that God has angels preach the everlasting gospel to every tribe, nation,
tongue and peoples in Rev. 14:8? Can we the body of Christ the church
claim we've done our jobs well? I think not! We didn't obey the
great commission, so God has to send angels to do it for us! The
elections prove this beyond doubt or question in our own nation, much less, the
rest of the world!
Remember, evil
kings Sennacherib of Assyria and Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon who attacked and
sacked Israel are called "My instruments" by God in Scripture in
bringing His righteous judgments on His first chosen -- Obama may be a catalyst
to or God's instrument to bring His righteous judgments on America
who is no longer a Christian nation -- this is the source and reason for
much anguish among true Christians today, and most Christians don't know
why -- most may blame election results as the cause of their internal
grief, but it could also be the grief of the Holy Spirit being felt by
believers. Recall also the several places in both OT and NT
Scripture that state, "first to the Jew, then to the Gentile" -- referring to the gospel message as well as to
God's judgment. We've likely entered a period of God's judgment on a once
Christian nation.
The five stages of
grief are predictable, beginning with denial, followed by anger, followed by
bargaining or rationalizing, followed by depression and tears, followed by
acceptance of the facts with either a hopeful or hopeless outlook. With
BO, I know of not one conservative who is optimistic about anything in this
temporal world. Difficult for most believers is to obey Scripture and pray
for those in authority over us, to love our enemies, forgive them, love them,
bless them, do not curse them, and love them as ourselves! (But when we
do this in obedience, I've found that God removes our enemies -- there are
still two plus months of time for God to act or allow evil men to act -- are we
continuing to pray?)”
People generally don’t care about what you know until they
know that you care. I’m afraid that America has done itself a great
dis-service by electing a left wing radical liberal into the White House. The
people don’t understand the consequence of promoting flagrant immorality and
murder yet that is what they have done. Barack Obama’s own record in the Senate
speaks volumes for what he stands for. The above cited complaints are clear
evidence for what we can expect of this rogue leader. Many now will simply
resign themselves towards accepting the new “promise of change” and declare
that we should simply pray for the man. I agree that we should pray but pray
for God’s will and nothing more. The rest is up to Americans. I strongly
believe that if any reading this Scroll are saddened by the flagrant abuse of
Constitutional exercise here then they should be the ones speaking out with the
loudest voices. Don’t let all the flowery promises of change and restoration fool you – he’s a lawyer for crying out loud!
Since when did anyone ever trust a lawyer? Barack Obama’s message is what
everyone wants to hear and that should in itself make
his agenda suspect to say the least. “Lies,
lies, hypocrisy and more lies… My, oh my how the devil
loves those election years.”
Matthew 10:34 “Think not that I came to send
peace on the earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.”
Israel - Jordan Tour
2008
My daughter and I have returned safely from our Middle East tour. The above were my thoughts and
reflection with supporting godly witness written prior to leaving for Israel. While
we were in Israel in one of
his news conferences, President Elect Barack Obama gave clear statement on his
support for a Palestinian
State. The American Jews
who voted for him should be ashamed that they supported a man who seeks to
divide up Israel’s inherritance and risk loosing control of their most precious
resource; water.
Only after visiting Israel
can one truly understand the kind of impact that would result if Israel lost posession and control of the area
known as the Golan Heights. Giving into “land
for peace” agreements
in order to gain “peace in the region” brokered by self serving elite beaureaucrats is not unlike
the story of Esau who gave up his inherritance for a bowl of soup. God the
Father was not too happy and is quoted as saying, “Jacob I loved but Esau I hated.” It would furthermore be suicide
for Israel to risk loosing
posession of the Golan Heights because of the primary water sources that feed
the Jordan River making agriculture possible
in an otherwise dry and arid land. Seeing the “land of milk and honey”
with one’s own eyes and what Israel
has accomplished in such a small territory and short amount of time
demonstrates the “hand of God” at work.
The Land where God walked as a Man
This will begin a series of Scrolls detailing my pilgrimage
to the Holy Land. I’ve rambled on enough about
the political strife affecting our lives and must accept that these things at must
take place for the Word of God to achieve it’s
fulfillment. Take care how each of you walk and with how you participate in
society. God oversees, Christ interceeds and the Spirit speaks and gives
direction. Remember that our fundamental duty and responsibility is in our
faithful witness of Christ in our lives. If that leads us to deepening
persecutions and perhaps our deaths then it is better to die for something
worthy than to live for nothingness. I wish more believers and professed Christians
lived their lives as if Jesus were their Lord but most are sadly, saturated in
self. I have said before and again recently that if you pastor a congregation
or local Church then you should be making pilgrimages to Israel.
Understanding is paramount and unless you’ve been there to see it with your own
eyes and taste it with your lips, you cannot say with any degree of authority
what the Word of God is to mankind. A whole world of understanding and
discernment opens up to believers visiting the Holy Land
who desire to make a difference. The word of God becomes more real and tangible
for those seeking purpose and fulfillment in their lives. Without question, you
see how often God was faithful in fulfilling the promises He made to Israel. I have
no doubt that the rest of God’s promises will be fulfilled, right down to the
last jot and tittle!
This was my second tour and some things really come into
clear focus when you spend time reflecting on the scriptures as you walk where
the prophets of Israel
walked and where Jesus dwelled and ministered. I captured nearly a thousand
pictures and made daily journal entries to record highlights and insights. I
still plan on developing a slide show for my website and am more organized this
time around to achieve that goal. When it is ready I will publish it under a
