Befriending the World is Enmity with GOD
One must allow the Word of God to remain the judge of all things,
as it is the only accurate "plumbline" we have to test
and measure. "Test and measure all things by the Spirit..."

his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire."

True humility is first expressed towards a loving God who
disciplines us for our good. He does this because He loves us.
The result being... either contempt for God or the formation
of a Godfearing people who embrace God's fullest measure of love
and accept His judgments and discipline. He is righteous and
we must learn and accept His form of justice and righteousness.
If we cannot express our understanding of God's fullest measure
of love and share with others our measure of faith, how will
anyone witness to others with a lesser faith or to those who
are being misguided? My last Scroll brought out a lot of argument
and some were compelled to warn me that it was not my duty to
rebuke the American Government or the President and his administration.
I obviously hurt the feelings of some and assaulted the pride
of others. If your pride was assaulted then I accomplished what
I set out to do!
The first letter I received admonished me with Romans 13:1-2
"Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers.
For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained
of God. Whosoever therefore resisteth the power resisteth
the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves
damnation."
To the woman who replied to my last bold exhortation exposing
American tyranny, I wrote, "Please do not take scripture
out of its appropriate context. The context of Romans 13:1 is
established fully in the entire passage of chapter 13. Yes, Satan
and his fallen angels have no power but that power which has
been granted them for a time. This has been so since the first
fall - through guile and deceit, he (the opposer) corrupts, destroys,
afflicts and leads astray. He even had the permission of the
Father to tempt our Savior but Jesus overcame his alluring temptations.
The same should hold true for the authority men in power have
been given. Does Romans 13:1 mean that I should allow the deceiver
or an "anti-Christ" type individual to master over
me? Of course not. We are commanded to speak truth, every one
of us if we are believers and furthermore, "Preach
the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke,
exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine." 2 Tim
4:2. This - I do!
Was Jesus speaking evil of the Pharisees and Saducees when He
pronounced them to be evil, adulterous, vile, hypocrites and
a "brood of vipers?" No - Jesus was reproving,
rebuking and exhorting with all long suffering. Jesus was not
speaking evil (opposing righteous standards) but was instead
revealing the sins of many which we also are commanded to uphold
and maintain - first in our own lives thereby becoming
a better example to others. I did not condemn the President
or his administration anywhere in my Scroll but instead brought
to the surface the truth of what we do know about what did not
happen. Speaking and walking in truth and abiding it is what
brings condemnation upon others though such a person does not
directly condemn but rather appeals to them so that their hearts
may be convicted and be led to a genuine repentance. Funny thing,
the truth has a way of being not unlike the light, which shines
on things hidden in the dark exposing what is really there. This
is what walking in love truly looks like - it is an unwavering
commitment to the truth, which is what Jesus said, would "set
us free." Love is not a feeling but an unwavering
commitment to God - His Christ - and your fellow man!
She further cites Titus 3:2 "To speak evil of no man,
to be no brawlers, but gentle, showing all meekness unto all
men." I replied in kind, "If you knew me in
person or read any of my letters to the President which have
been long published, you would know that I am meek and gentle
and have always approached him with respect. I have a long history
of doing the same with popularized preachers and evangelists
but when they continue to lie and deceive - a willing subject
such as myself is expected to abide the Spirit of truth and take
a stronger stance. The Lord did not give me a timid Spirit and
I am not fashioned as a woman - I am a Godfearing man with attributes
not common to females. Again, I am not speaking evil of any
man but instead am shining light on the evil principality affecting
men in power. Yes, they do exist - not for causes against
righteousness but for taming and disciplining criminals. When
men have gone too far and exceeded their appointed position and
authority - what do you think God Almighty has had a history
of doing and through whom does He usually achieve His objectives?
Does scripture not declare that God takes such men out? Is it
not through His appointed subjects that He gets the job done?
Your insinuation that I am not walking according to God's Word
is presumptuous and not well balanced. Perhaps, you lack understanding
of the fuller context of God's love... that is that His love
is not complete without also embracing His hatreds. Do you love
what God hates, I asked?"
Believing that I was speaking evil of dignities, she further
admonishes me with 2 Peter 2:10 and Jude 1:8. I do not despise
God's Government and I embrace certain righteous individuals
who were appointed in Government authority throughout history.
They accomplished much and I am certain will be rewarded well
for their efforts because they did the will of God and usually
suffered for their righteous application and deeds. Again, I
am not speaking evil of dignitaries but am exposing fraud and
treason of certain individuals who have crept in un-noticed and
they need to be dealt with and held accountable. What possibility
is there for righteousness to exist if there is no one to hold
his fellow man accountable?
On the point she was making with Jude 1:8, I continued my
strong defense, "Again, you missed the entire context of
what Jude was expressing. He in fact exhorts that we "should
earnestly contend for the faith that was once delivered unto
the saints." Do you not understand the fuller meaning
and context of God's appointed messengers at a time when the
whole world is being delivered up for trial, testing and judgment?
This is no time to argue or banter about words, which you do
not understand, but it is the time to take a stand and resolve
to make a difference. Apathy, indifference and toleration of
lies, hidden agendas, subversive plots and deviance by men who
call themselves "Christian" only empowers these tyrants
to continue in their sordid affairs and murderous schemes. Again,
I ask you, what part will you play in this end-time drama? Is
the spirit you have been given timid or is it bold and expressive?
Do you understand the context of love in the act of accountability
and discipline? Are you going to take a stand (non-violent) and
be counted among the righteous and demand truth, justice and
sincerity or are you going to allow unbelief to weaken your moral
standard allowing for genocide and atrocity to continue and overcome
us?" I add here, if evil is going to overcome us, then
let it not find us being apathetic or indifferent about it's
presence and neither should we be caught supporting it on any
level!
Make no mistake about it - I am doing the will of my Father in
Heaven at the appointed time He has called me to act. I act not
of my own accord nor do I incite violence or rebellion but I
do know that as the truth becomes more exposed in the light,
there will be a great polarization of peoples and at some point
in the very near future, the wheat will be separated from the
tares - so that the harvest can finally be accomplished. We already
see this taking place in our society everywhere. Unfortunately,
the Catholic Church is drawing millions more in under her oppressive
rule and authority. This is the will of GOD because those who
can be saved must be saved and those that will ally themselves
with the corrupted Gentile Church who has for long centuries
been directly responsible for maturing apostasy will be destroyed.
They will be destroyed because they replaced the Son of God for
other forms of tradition and worship. The Catholic Church is
a harlot if there ever was a formidable harlot church.
Where will you be standing? Will you be found working and attending
to the Master's directive? Will you be left behind or taken up?
Where will you find yourself in the last days? Making right and
just choices to refuse participation in evil agendas is a peaceful
way to keep one's hands unstained by the spilt blood of humanity.
But participating in it will ensure your hands are stained with
blood. How do you want to be judged on the last day?
To a dear friend whom I've known for many years, I responded
faithfully and refused to allow him to believe the lies and deep
deception almost everyone is being conditioned by. He thought
that I went too far in this last Scroll. I wrote him back replying
with a firm conviction that I dare not excuse his ignorance.
As you will see, being my friend does not excuse you from appropriate
rebuke when warranted. I responded, "Knowing you as well
as I do, I knew you would be somewhat offended by my last email.
But honestly man... what the hell were you thinking by slipping
in that little tid bit of patriotic vomit in your last email?
If you really knew me... you should know better. If you thought
you were offended by my reply... you should have seen my reaction
to your claim that the President or his administration didn't
have anything to do with the 911 events. I was being nice when
I suggested your head might be in the sand!"
"The thing that gets me the most upset with you at times
is that I am all the time fighting against your patriotic attitude
and volumes of stated unbelief. Sometimes I question your loyalty
to God when you justify or make excuses for America's corrupted
democracy and supposed freedoms. You and I don't see eye to eye
on America - we never have and we never will! You excuse America's
deplorable acts and I refuse to embrace her because her acts
prove enmity towards God. Therefore she (America) not unlike
the world is something to be hated! Though we are required to
walk blamelessly and practice unconditional forgiveness and I
do... that does not mean I must embrace, allow for or participate
in her unrighteousness. I refuse to partake in her political
and religious partiality. I openly confess and implore others
to do the same by not going to the voting booths. Yet, you still
justify her and try to excuse her wicked transgressions against
humanity and instead of using critical thinking skills and looking
at the evidence against her - you choose to ignore them."
"I would normally handle such opposition differently but
there is a dynamic involved here that affects how I respond to
what you say. The first dynamic is that you are a close and personal
friend and so my reaction is logically more passionate that a
controlled reaction with another believing Christian I have not
developed relationship with. Hence, my expectations of you are
greater than with someone I do not know personally. Secondly...
you continually disappoint me because you ALMOST NEVER care to
read my scrolls, always having an excuse, it's too long... it's
too deep... your too long winded... etc. etc. etc. It seems clear
to me that by acting this way - you present yourself to be superficial
towards me. I know when people are keeping up and reading and
I know when they are not by the viewpoints they express and the
arguments they present. In your case... you most often confess
truthfully that you haven't got around to it. There is always
some excuse why you didn't or couldn't. This offends me GREATLY
friend. It's not me you are shortchanging here though - it's
yourself."
"By your reaction and comments made regarding the 911 affair.
I know you did not see the evidence I recommended by watching
the DVD - Loose Change and I also know that you
did not yet give my Scroll a good reading - through and through.
If you had... you would not have made the comment you did. The
funny thing about your email was that you cited historical tyrants
throughout history and when it came to 911 you broke the harmony
of what you were writing by excusing President Bush in the 911
affairs. Dude! Wake up! What is it going to take to shake you
out of this defending stance you are taking for the enemies of
God?"

HOLY BY BECOMING SEPARATE. IF YOU WERE READING MY SCROLLS AND
LEARNING AND GROWING WITH ME THEN YOU WOULD KNOW THAT AND UNDERSTAND
THAT."
"When you don't care enough to read and respond like
thousands of others who participate with me... how do you think
that makes me feel? Do you see what I mean? Hence my question
in the last email, "How do you think God feels when no
one is paying attention to His sent messengers?" What
am I to think of you? I pray for you and your requested needs
continually. Are you giving as much of yourself and attention
to God and His needs as much as you expect Him to serve your
needs? Search deeply my friend and be honest with yourself and
the truth of the matter.
I will continue to work out my salvation with fear and trembling
for your sake and others until they get the point... Kill the
enmity within you so that God can do more through you and make
you REALLY useful. Make no excuse for yourself and where you
think you've come from or try justifying your current state.
IT'S NOT GOOD ENOUGH and that's what God is using me and a handful
of others to convey."
"As long as we try justifying our lives and where we are
at defending what we currently believe... the door remains closed
to what God is crying out from the heavens above. The Angels
are harkening and sounding the trumpets. Don't get left behind
in the advancing polarization that is taking place right now.
The wheat is being separated from the tares. All men are being
called to repentance now. Your religion won't save you. Your
knowledge won't save you. Only your relevant faith in Christ
will save you but can you hear the Word, which He is speaking
that leads one to the right measure of faith? Does faith not
come by first "hearing the Word?" Are
you hearing the Word my beloved friend or are you going to take
an argumentative stance with me and try to justify yourself and
your thoughts and behaviors against what God is trying to convey
to you?"
"I cannot apologize for my unusually strong stand with you
or anyone else. I was as brief and to the point as I am capable
of being. If that hurt you... my hope is that the pain was only
sufficient enough to break the wall of unbelief and indifference
that exists between us. I have little or no tolerance for superficial
faith and suspect behaviors under the umbrella of Christian faith
and belief especially when it is coming from someone close to
me that I care deeply about. If I were not this way... there
would be no excuse for me on the last day. Sometimes I think
that you still don't understand just how serious this vocation
is that God has assigned me. It doesn't really matter who you
are, I cannot allow for enmity towards God - in any season."
A Godfearing Sister in Christ wrote me and commended me on the
strong exhortation and was led to dig deeper through my other
writings. She found my prior published letters to the President
and wondered why they were so gentle and kind and why did I treat
the President as a Christian? It appeared to her that I may be
now or at one time supported President Bush and his administration.
Let me be perfectly clear, I have never supported politics in
any way shape or form. Furthermore.. I absolutely refuse to be
forced into choosing the lesser of two or more evils. My allegiance
to God and His Christ is clear and I refuse to maintain double
standards or make excuses for others and myself. Enmity is enmity
towards God, no matter how you analyze it. Note the honesty required
of me in replying to her concern. I like many of us have maintained
hope that something or someone better would come along. Clearly,
it takes a while before we can see the fruit of a man's agenda
and polished words mean little or nothing in the scope of results.
My reply was as follows:
"Thank you for your valid letter of concern. I am most pleased
to reply in kind. If you'll notice, the date of that first letter
was soon after George Bush took office the first round. It was
at this time that so much turmoil was besieging me in the "so-called"
churches and also when I was being moved to speak out prophetically
in many Christian circles. At the time, I was in the process
of "coming out" and it seemed that God was using me
on several fronts - but I was not certain to what avail at the
time. None of us at the time could say we knew who or what George
Bush was for it takes a little time for a man's fruit (good or
bad) to manifest itself. I distinctly recall my approaching him
with dignity and respect as any Godfearing messenger has in the
past, being sent by God to speak to Kings and dignitaries, in
the hope that he would grant me an audience or at the very least,
a simple reply or acknowledgment. Of course, this did not happen
directly."
"The main reason for the letter was to serve as a warning
and as I recall, though I did not fully understand what the prophetic
warning was about at the time - I knew according to the message
sent and the original 11 exhortations which were submitted with
that letter that "we are (were) about to be delivered
into the enemies hands." It was a call to repentance
seasoned with hope that he might be the one person to lead this
country towards a national repentance. As it turned out, I was
writing to the very man that would lead us straight through the
doors of the beginnings of the final conflicts prophesied in
our Bibles."
"I'm in agreement with you that we seem to have entered
the darkest chapters of prophecy now unfolding before our very
eyes. Please know that this has been a terrible disappointment
but over the last six years, I have come to realize that he (George
W. Bush) was indeed appointed for this very thing at this very
time not unlike Judas Iscariot who was also appointed to betray
our Lord at a given time. Good or bad - men are appointed by
God for His divine fulfillment and purposes and God being faithful
has always demonstrated - "that it will come to pass."
There is little you or I can do to avert these things now in
play except to remain diligent and faithful to Christ. That literally
means that we must accept certain outcomes but not necessarily
support them. Since that time when I first began reaching out
publicly, I have been exhorting till I'm blue in the face that
we as Godfearing Christians should abstain from all these things,
man's divisive religion and government and hidden agendas and
political vices and sordid gains precipitated by various greed
and lusts. They do us no good whatsoever."
"There is so much I hate about this administration in particular
but my faith is tempered by God to not be too much an outward
offense thereby closing the ears of those who may otherwise hear
my plea. There are a great many people caught in the trap of
patriotic deception and it saddens me to no end that many people
professing themselves to be Christian are choosing to believe
this "War on Terrorism" is justified. Presumably,
you and I know that it is not - according to all that
is written in the New Testament and the teachings and pattern
of Christ Jesus - as we understand the gospel. The same thing(s)
or spirit(s) that instigated the Catholic delusion and precipitated
the Crusades also maligned the Arabs fostering Islam and every
single bloody battle ever fought by man on the battle fields
in the name of God the Father or Christ His Son including the
Protestant uprising has been "unjustified" since
the death and resurrection of Christ Jesus. History merely records
for us the lack of human maturity and embellishes the still sad
state of our condition. Though technology seems to have made
great advances - man has not and his heart is still terribly
wicked and deceived. I am one that believes that man's science,
technology and medicine have played a HUGE role in replacing
the kind of faith we are called to have in Christ. So, even modern
advances has worked against us and made us a very weak people
as believers."
The truth is that none of us shall be or are saved unless we
accept and follow the liberating pattern of God's only Son who
showed us a better way. All else will, according to scripture,
be condemned but that does not mean we condemn others while there
remains a chance for repentance leading to redemption. So, our
duty remains to exhort, reprove and continue to admonish and
rebuke humanity's transgressions and error in the hope that
"some might be saved." So many who read my
scrolls think that I judge and condemn but few understand that
"conviction" is my goal which I understand leads a
few with ears to hear to humble repentance. Note that conviction
is one of the telling attributes of God's Holy Spirit - so few
actually understand that.
"Like you, I too am saddened and am in total agreement that
there are no visible good fruits coming out of this country's
oval office. What I want everyone to understand is that regardless
of ones political positioning... liberal, conservative, democrat
or republican, none are prescribed for us as believers. We must
obey the righteous standards of the laws that govern us but we
do not necessarily have to support it in any way. Scripture says
that such are they to serve as ministers for God - not for lording
over the righteous but for taming and discipline of the unruly
so that we may live reasonable and peaceful lives. That too now
seems to be rapidly fading away. The one thing we can count on
is that we will suffer moreso in the coming days and the rest
of God's Word will be fulfilled - right down to the last jot
and tittle."
"Rest your heart dear sister (and all readers), I am no
supporter of Bush or American democracy for that matter. The
Government I am in subjection to is the Father's over whom He
placed His worthy Son to be Lord and King. I refuse to divide
my alliances. I am a subject of my Lord's court and must abide
His command for only He is worthy to be obeyed!" AMEN
Loose Cannons: The still popular Charismatic
Movements and their influence on Christianity
I want to thank all of you so much for your letters of concern.
It sounds to me that God is giving some of you eyes to truly
see with and that is where the trouble begins. Another letter
I received asks, "how do we witness the truth to these
people who are being led astray." It is my bold and
uncompromising belief that the only way one can witness to an
unbelieving generation who lack the vision and understanding
of Christ's redeeming example is to first and foremost - make
a separation. Paul called for this in his letters to the
Corinthians and addressed the problem at length where certain
men have "crept in unnoticed." These men introduced
seductive and secret doctrines, which infiltrated the newly budding
churches throughout Greece, Samaria and Judea. It appears that
the number of infiltrators at that time was small as the gatherings
of Christians were exhorted to remove such men from their gatherings.
Today, we have the same problem but it is magnified a million-fold.
Now instead of a few men of depraved mind corrupting the ranks
of believers, we have whole institutions having been corrupted,
wave after wave of heresy has not only crept in but also has
swept whole congregations away leaving only a few believers isolated
and alone wondering, "What is happening?" At
one point, Paul refers to making a separation from an Old Testament
exhortation by God the Father...
2 Corinthians 6:14-18 "Be ye not unequally yoked
together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness
with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he
that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the
temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living
God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk
in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith
the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive
you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and
daughters, saith the Lord Almighty."
In another passage, Paul qualifies his message of separation
further, by defining whom he was talking about in 1 Corinthians
5:9-13 "I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company
with fornicators: Yet not altogether with the fornicators of
this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters;
for then must ye needs go out of the world. But now I have
written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called
a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a
railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no
not to eat. For what have I to do to judge them also that
are without? do not ye judge them that are within? But them that
are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves
that wicked person."
In the above, Paul gives us a broad expression of the sin we
are to avoid but notice that he is not specifically taking about
separation from the worldly who are still worldly and sinning.
Paul is talking about the false brethren (so-called Christians)
who say they are saved but by their deeds and actions are seen
as not. Bearing witness is not merely a matter of being able
to speak a good word as one does who has knowledge. Bearing witness
is where one who is able to show and demonstrate the witness
thereby proving that the truth is in them. Absent of that, these
men and the churches some of you describe have for all intents
and purposes, "fallen away" from the
faith, which they may once have had. My contextual understanding
of apostasia indicates the very real possibility that
they may never have arrived at the kind of faith exhibited by
Christ and His disciples. Real faith building takes time to mature
but unfortunately so many are swept away by demonic and perverted
doctrines before they are able to mature. This begs the question,
"How is it that this can happen?"
The answer I provide is simple... One, people are not praying
as they should for others but are praying more often with selfish
motives concerned more for the things of self. Two, people are
not reading the Word of God diligently feeding off the wealth
of wisdom contained therein as they should but are instead choosing
to "trust a man" to deliver the Word orally
to them believing that because he is an ordained minister of
some sort, he must know what he is doing and talking about. That
is where I believe the falling away actually begins in a person's
life. How many people read scripture today and exercise critical
thinking skills? I'm afraid, not many. If we do not read scripture
and understand the Word to be that which judges us as Christ
said, then we will not understand what the real measure is of
a man's teaching or a particular church's doctrine. How can anyone
judge with a righteous judgment if they do not first know the
Word's judgment on us?
Humans have put far far too much trust in their humanity than
they should have done. People who do this do not recognize their
fallen nature and state and are thus no different than unbelievers
because they cannot discern the need or necessity for redemption.
So the message of redemption then gets capsulated or bottled
up only later to be distributed as a human formula for salvation.
That is what has happened throughout the realm of contemporary
Christianity and many are being led down dark paths that will
only lead to indifference, apathy, unrighteous hatreds, partiality
and virtual unbelief. Since institutionalized religion has a
value in the market place and the pockets of today's evangelizing
pretenders and furthermore has become as large as the largest
Corporate Interests running our Country and the World economy...
there is only one place to go and one thing left to do... get
out from under it altogether.
Enjoin yourself to Christ alone and really make Him your Lord.
Feed off the scriptures daily making no excuse for not doing
so. Pray for and seek God's available wisdom, discernment, and
empowering grace and daily ask His forgiveness of your weakness
and failings while attempting to follow His righteous pattern.
Being humble in this way and recognizing that salvation is not
achieved through man's divisive religion but is only achieved
through applying oneself to Christ's pattern and teachings. That
is what will foster and nurture the kind of growth in you that
can later be effectively witnessed to others. The Father desires
us to become sons and daughters unto Him in the same pattern
and likeness that Jesus demonstrated. Walk like, think like,
pray like, fight like and love like Christ is in you doing it
through you. That, by the way is the reality of salvation and
becoming a new creature - dying to self so that His Spirit may
live in you and through you. You as a redeemed individual no
longer belong to yourself but now belong to God for you have
been purchased and your sins have been redeemed. Now, the truly
born again believer no longer lives like he/she once did going
to church like everyone else still does. NO! The truly redeemed
person now understands they are the church and where they gather
in agreement with other like believers... there Christ is among
them and His Spirit will minister the way that it did 2000 years
ago.
The truly redeemed are suffering today. The truly redeemed are
being hated and persecuted at Christian churches (temples) for
speaking out against the many heresies and told to shut up or
leave! The truly redeemed are not living lavish lifestyles at
the expense of others. The truly redeemed are not a people who
flock to hear one man speak but gather together to allow the
Holy Spirit to speak freely among all the gathered ones. The
truly redeemed do not worship in temples of wood and stone and
stained glass but recognize themselves as the very temples in
which God has chosen to dwell. Where we go and where we gather
and what we speak is God in us and among us. When we pray according
to God's will, He answers and grants abundantly but how many
are willing to ask for more humility? When we seek genuine healing,
He answers and delivers - He truly gives sight to the blind and
understanding to the willing hearers. But how many today want
to hear the truth?
Since God portions out faith and giftings like coins of value,
it should go without saying that we have a duty and responsibility
to God for what He gave us to tend to. Are we being faithful
in that or are we gathering with the mainstreamers trying to
hold on to the lies we've been long conditioned by? Is it important
that we go to church or more pressing that we show ourselves
to be the church - everywhere we go with everyone we meet and
greet? I ask this because making a diligent attempt to reprove
your beloved pastor will only find you trouble or deaf ears.
The God of my salvation was cast out of His own assembly and
His Word, believe it or not... is not welcome anymore. Don't
believe me? Try it and you will see something ugly manifest itself
in the person you thought was a man or woman of God.
Contemporary pastors and priests no longer seem to be accountable
to the Word anymore. A new gospel has taken over and is leading
millions into believing a false version of God the Father and
Jesus the Christ. Sure, you still hear their names used but you
will be hard pressed to see the valid witness. Listen and heed
the Holy Spirit. Obey the Word of God and be as Christ. Walk
singularly with God and seek fellowship with those who are of
like mind and faith. That's where we come in. I am just one Godfearing
man but many have joined with us at Cephas and participate regularly
providing a wonderful foundation of fellowship. Here, you will
have accountability and genuine love (unwavering commitment)
and also the spiritual support of those who have sold out their
lives entirely to Christ.
Faith and what Christ patterned for our lives is a way of life
- not a religion. Religion can be somewhat harmless and useful
if it is an undefiled religion, but relationship with God is
trusting (having faith in) God implicitly and following only
His Son's pattern. That's literally what it means to make Jesus
your Lord. I know of no other way to please God than to follow
the pattern of Christ listening only to Him. That is how you
will bear witness to others whom you also love. After a time,
some may follow you out and also make a separation but they will
first need to see (witness) you do the right and just thing according
to the scriptural remedy given. That kind of obedience merits
you much and is also viewed as the kind of personal sacrifice
that becomes acceptable and pleasing to God. That is what it
means to fully embrace the gospel of Christ crucified and become
a part of His living Church. If you have any further doubts as
to what separation actually means, look up the definition of
Holy. Holy literally means being separate. Did Jesus not say,
"Be Holy also as is your Father who calls you?"
The following portion in this Scroll, "Charisma Run Amuck,"
deals with one of the fathers of this twisted charismatic movement
many of you are witnessing. Kenneth Hagin is dead now but he
left behind a wildly popular charismatic movement, which spread
like a fast moving cancer upon the Body of Christ. It describes
a little more in detail what you are seeing and will help you
to understand how wide spread it is. You may also link directly
to my ministry where you will find more on similar and other
related concerns for the modern Church and the apostasy plaguing
it. I hope I have been of some help here. If any of you require

Charisma Run Amuck
The charismatic-tongue speaking Kenneth Hagin was known as the
father of the "Word-Faith"/"Positive Confession"
movement. In his Word of Faith magazine, he taught many subtle
heresies: According to Kenneth Hagin, "receiving physical
healing is just as receiving salvation. It becomes simply a matter
of appropriating what already belongs to us (6/90)." This
matter is unbiblical because one must trust (have faith that
God will if appropriate) to heal such a person. A person must
make request of God for such and always qualify that request
with, "Lord, not my will but yours."
So what Kenneth Hagin was teaching is contradictory to what pattern
Christ showed us. What Jesus taught us is that it was often our
faith in Him that healed us and was never an appropriation
of power belonging to us. True, after Pentecost, the disciples
were granted degrees of power over the darker principalities
but that power is belonging to the indwelling Holy Spirit and
never something in subjection to human command. Rather, men are
in subjection to the will of God and His Spirit. Men do not command
God but God commands men! In other words, the disciples and Apostles
became intermediaries between man and God as Christ so demonstrated
but the power of healing was granted by and through much prayer
and fasting. The Apostles never thought themselves to have the
power but that request had to be made of God on a person's behalf
to heal and deliver such a person. This required a great deal
of humility on the petitioners' part rather than an arrogant
assumption, "I can heal whenever I want by merely commanding
spirit demons away."
Kenneth Hagin goes on to manipulate the scriptural evidence
by reporting that “physical healing is included
in the gospel (8/92); God does not afflict people with sickness
and disease (12/90).†Well, physical healing
is included in the gospel of Christ crucified but "not
all are healed." The evidence shows that one must
have an unwavering faith in God's Son for this to become manifest.
In more simple words, one must invest all their trust in God's
Son, His pattern and teachings. Not all have faith do they? Not
all go to heaven do they? Not all are meek lambs are they? Not
all understand that through Christ alone one receives redemption
do they? As for affliction, In a prior scroll, we talked much
about Job's trial and affliction. Though God did not cause the
various afflictions and suffering directly, He did allow for
testing and trial, which was purposed by Satan thus testing Job's
faith. Job passed the trial but not before being reproved by
God for his self-righteousness. Therefore, to assume one has
authority to command demons away is being self-righteous but
to believe that God may be approached and requested of for healing
and deliverance demonstrates humility and fear. In Job's case,
God used Elihu as an intermediary and Elihu delivered recompense
unto Job and his friends. When Job acknowledged God's righteousness
over and above his own, then Job was restored to perfect health
and prosperity. God alone possesses the power to save and destroy.
By large contrast Kenneth Hagin reported in his Word
of Faith magazine, that he "went to heaven and talked
with his sister" (6/91); Jesus appeared to him (Hagin)
in a vision in 1950 (8/91); he (Hagin) once went to hell in an
out-of-body experience (9/91); he (Hagin) does not believe in
sickness and disease (7/92); it is always God's will to heal
the sick (12/92); and believers have a legal and redemptive right
to divine healing (1/93). Hagin says: "Your confession
of faith in God's Word will bring healing or whatever it is you
need from God into the present tense and make it a reality in
your life!" (12/92). (Reported in the 2/1/93 Calvary
Contender.)
In Hagin's book, Having Faith in Your Faith, he taught that anyone
can develop universal "laws of faith" to get what
he wants. Hagin taught that for a pastor or anyone to drive
a Chevrolet instead of a luxury car isn't "being humble,
that's being ignorant" of God's "law of prosperity"
that works for "whoever you are," saint or sinner.
"Having Faith in Your Faith" is a far cry from
what Jesus taught: "Have faith in God." [Other Hagin
books that clearly detail his "theology" are How to
Write Your Own Ticket with God (Tulsa: Faith Library, 1979) and
Godliness is Profitable (Tulsa: Faith Library, 1982).] Hagin
claims Jesus told him, "If anybody, anywhere,
will ... put these [positive confession] principles into operation,
he will always have whatever he wants from Me or God the Father"
(Charismatic Chaos, p. 281). Folks, these statements are utter
heresy and have no correlation with proper biblical guidance,
direction or understanding. Kenneth Hagin deceived millions over
decades and though now he is dead, his perverted legacy still
influences the young and naive, the ignorant and reckless.
In another edition of his magazine, The Word of Faith, Hagin
clearly delineates this heresy of "positive confession."
The article was entitled "You Can Have What You Say."
Hagin wrote, "Often you create your own negative
situations yourself with wrong thinking, wrong believing, and
wrong speaking. So start believing according to God's Word. Then
begin making positive confessions of faith and victory over your
life. ... You will never receive anything from God beyond the
words you speak. ... If you don't like what you have in life,
then begin to change the way you are thinking, believing, and
speaking. Instead of speaking according to natural circumstances
out of your head, learn to speak God's Word from your
spirit. Begin to confess God's promises of life and health
and victory into your situation. Then you can begin to enjoy
God's abundant life as you have what you say!" This
was later termed as the "Name it" “ Claim it"
doctrine and spread through many churches leading multitudes
astray later finding themselves spiritually bankrupt.
Hagin went a step further, from heresy to blasphemy, when he
told us:
"The believer is as much an incarnation of God as Jesus
Christ. ... If we ever wake up and realize who we are, we'll
start doing the work that we're supposed to do. Because the church
hasn't realized yet that they are Christ. That's who they are.
They are Christ." But scripture clearly establishes
the Church as being many members of "one body" over
whom Christ is the authority.
Hagin obviously did not believe God is sovereign. Jesus, according
to Hagin's theology, has no authority on earth, having delegated
it all to the church. (He developed this point in his book The
Authority of the Believer [Tulsa: Faith Library, 1979]). Unfortunately,
the Catholics also believe the same that all authority has been
given to the church. This should be sounding off some alarms
in your ears if you are familiar with the Catholic perversion
of faith and her heresies. In his book, How to Write Your Own
Ticket with God, Hagin sees a vision of Jesus and says to Him:
"Dear Lord, I have two sermons I preach concerning the
woman who touched Your clothes and was healed when You were on
earth. I received both of these sermons by inspiration "
(emphasis added). Later, Hagin quotes what Jesus told him in
reply: "You are correct. My Spirit, the Holy Spirit,
has endeavored to get another sermon into your spirit, but you
have failed to pick it up. While I am here, I will do as you
ask. I will give you that sermon outline. Now get your pencil
and paper and write it down."
Hagin claimed to have received numerous visions, as well as eight
personal visitations from Jesus. Hagin has written, "The
Lord Himself taught me about prosperity. I never read about it
in a book. I got it directly from heaven " (How
God Taught Me About Prosperity, Tulsa: Faith Library, 1985).
That claim, of course, is a lie (Charismatic Chaos, p. 268).
[Hagin also claims that he knows that Paul wrote Hebrews because
Jesus appeared to him (Hagin) and told him so!]
This is utter blasphemy and anyone who admires these false claims
should be reminded of Paul and John's warnings regarding "contrary
teachings" to what the Apostles clearly established
according to Christ's pattern and example. Remember dear ones
- among other causes, Scripture is for our "reproof
and correction [discipline]."
2 Timothy 3:16 "All scripture is given by inspiration
of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction,
for instruction in righteousness:"
Romans 16:17-18 "Now I beseech you, brethren, mark
them, which causes divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine,
which ye have learned; and avoid them. For they that are
such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and
by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple."
1 Timothy 1:3-11 "As I besought thee to abide still
at Ephesus, when I went into Macedonia, that thou might charge
some that they teach no other doctrine, Neither give heed to
fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather
than godly edifying which is in faith: so do. Now the end
of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good
conscience, and of faith unfeigned: From which some having
swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling; Desiring to be
teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor
whereof they affirm. But we know that the law is good, if
a man use it lawfully; Knowing this, that the law is not made
for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for
the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers
of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, For whoremongers,
for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers,
for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing
that is contrary to sound doctrine; According to the glorious
gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust."
1 Timothy 6:3-5 "If any man teach otherwise, and
consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus
Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;
He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and
strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil
surmising, perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute
of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such
withdraw thyself."
Ephesians 4:14 "That we henceforth be no more children,
tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine,
by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie
in wait to deceive;"
2 John 1:10-11 "If there come any unto you, and
bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither
bid him God speed: For he that bids him God speed is partaker
of his evil deeds."
Now dear brethren, the point in the above contrast which everyone
should be warned regarding the evil times we now live was summed
up well in this: 1 Timothy 4:1-2 "Now the Spirit
speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart
from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines
of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience
seared with a hot iron;"
Scripture sharply rebukes every lofty claim made by men of
depraved mind who claim that they've heard from supposed angels
when their words don't stand up to the true measuring rod. Like
Kenneth Hagin, many men declare that they were even visited by
Christ Himself, having been instructed on factious doctrines
declaring prosperity for all, salvation for all, unity for all,
tongues for all, faith for all, teaching partiality among the
so-called brethren and salvation without repentance. Many of
these teachings lead the unaware straight into idolatry and they
learn to worship and practice spiritual gifts without discipline.
These are the ones that we are sternly warned to reprove like
brethren but avoid especially when their lives (works and deeds)
show contrast to sound doctrine and teaching. What did Paul exhort
to the Corinthians regarding these so-called brethren? 1 Corinthians
5:9-13 "I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company
with fornicators: Yet not altogether with the fornicators of
this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters;
for then must ye needs go out of the world. But now I
have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is
called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater,
or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one
no not to eat. For what have I to do to judge them also that
are without? Do not ye judge them that are within? But
them that are without - God judgeth. Therefore put away from
among yourselves that wicked person."
Is this then not the same warning God Almighty gives to come
out from among them and be separate? 2 Corinthians 6:14-18 "Be
ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship
hath righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion hath
light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial?
or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what
agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple
of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and
walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith
the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive
you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and
daughters, saith the Lord Almighty."
Why am I coming on so strong you may ask? Because there are still
many that believe the false preachers seeking after their ungodly
lusts and practicing all kinds of idolatry, partiality and undisciplined
sensuality. These are those that earnestly seek after the spiritual
gifts and signs apart from learning the necessary discipline
and obedience (love) which all must subscribe and adhere to first.
Such was clearly exhibited in Kenneth Hagin's performances and
we have the videotapes in our library to prove it. This is not
a mere speculation brethren but an admonishment for all that
read this Scroll to abstain from every man-made precept and doctrine,
following men who pursue things to first satisfy their own lusts.
In October of 2003, I published in the Nicholas Scrolls
volume I No. 6 the following regarding Kenneth Hagin and his
prote'ge's. By the Lord's grace, I exhorted, "Judgment is
sweeping the earth and it has begun with the many divided houses
of God. We are indeed in the days of acceleration. How can anyone
not notice the signs that are given? No longer can I remain silent
over my grave concerns about the state of man's churches and
the "so called brethren" that are running
them. There is a battle that is raging, both in heaven and on
earth, over the souls of these men and all who are gathering
with them.
"I am certain that Jesus had said, "Those who
do the will of My Father are My brothers, sisters and mother."
How can anyone support and justify these deluded men? I have
witnessed their blasphemies and perversion, deceiving and seducing.
I have witnessed the serpents" tongue slithering like a
snake in the grass (Caught it all on videotape). The people fall
down or slither off their seats. Passing out; some can't get
back to their seats. The laughter they call holy is as evil and
demonic as a blasphemer's scoffing; [depicting Kenneth Hagin's
performances]. Now, we know this man who authored the "word
in faith" a.k.a. "positive confession"
movement died September 19th 2003. Kenneth Hagin claimed that
long ago, God had told him he would be "made very rich
if he would learn to follow that inward witness." Failure
to repent here will cost him dearly. Kenneth Hagin's charismatic
prote'ge's were Kenneth Copeland, Marilyn Hickey, Fred Price,
Robert Tilton and John Osteen. I'm sure Kenneth's Ministry will
likely continue to prosper the family with their sordid gain
as junior is likely to be much like dad. An apple never falls
far from the tree.
Benny Hinn is right up there with the rest of these charismatic
showmen or should I say, shaman? Benny has said, " Cursed
is any man who comes against me and cursed is anyone who comes
against this ministry." Here is a man whom has led none
to Jesus except perhaps a few sons who discerned they should
depart for the sake of their souls. When Benny Hinn waves his
hands over the crowds, he demonstrates great wonder and power
from down under. Yes, that's right; I'm talking about the men
many Christians worship today whom are nothing more than showmen.
Jesus wasn't a showman and neither was He a shaman. Clearly,
He was "One" with the Father above.
These men enjoy great wealth and prosperity yet Christians were
promised, "All who desire to live Godly in Christ
Jesus will suffer."
"He warned us of these days and said few would follow. The
masses of Christianity today, contrast sharply with God's Word.
"Many are called but few are chosen."
Yes friends, contemporary Christianity is as fallen as the old
Jews. As for this society, we are no better off than the Egyptians,
Greeks and Romans. In fact, today's Nations are the long down
line from ancient civilizations. The purpose of my work is no
different than Paul's. He preached unto the Jews and Greeks as
I am sent to speak unto the Gentiles and those whom are called
Christian. After all, what should I have to do with judging outsiders?
Does not God judge those who are on the outside? Anyone who is
called and chosen is commissioned to handle His Word correctly
and search for our brethren, speaking with all boldness of speech,
reproving and admonishing in the context of God's true love."
... "James once wrote and said, "Submit therefore
to God; resist the devil (deceiver) and he will flee from you."
So many have failed to resist the enemy! Those with whom you
still fellowship may lead you further into darkness and deep
despair. The power of thine enemy is not something we should
seek. For, when we are beholding to the deceived, they place
in our minds, perversion and deceit. The purpose of them is this;
to make you blind and very weak. For those who refuse to resist
the enemy from within; they become so dependent on the "supposed"
fellowship they're in. Are you in a state of utter despair? I
ask you please; to what kingdom are you heir?
These hirelings, whom have led so many away from their freedom,
have sucked them into their lairs; serpents and dragons and demons
of despair. The power of my enemy is very great indeed but those
whom are responsible for this are full of evil deed. They've
robbed so many from their freedom and are likely to cause you
great grieving.
Hear now and listen to what the Lord doth say:
James 4:1-6 "From whence come wars and fighting's
among you? Come they not hence, even of your lusts that war
in your members? Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to
have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not,
because ye ask not. Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask
amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts. Ye adulterers
and adulteresses know ye not that the friendship of the world
is enmity with God? Whosoever therefore will be a friend of the
world is the enemy of God. Do ye think that the scripture
saith in vain, the spirit that dwelleth in us lusts with envy?
But he gives more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resists the
proud, but gives grace unto the humble."
Perhaps many of you have not been with me since the beginning
when the Lord began using me to exhort, reprove and admonish
the churches and did not read or receive the initial exhortations
and scrolls published for all to carefully scrutinize and consider.

Let me describe for you more fully my observations of a Kenneth
Hagin performance. Kenneth Hagin paces back and forth across
a stage while he cites to an assembly, scripture out of context
often referring to being "slain in the spirit"
and talks of "spiritual drunkenness." As he
refers to visions he has seen and visitations by Jesus, he starts
slithering his tongue like a snake repeatedly and after a while
he begins to stagger like a drunken man and eventually begins
waving his hand to certain spectators in the front rows. A woman
adorned nicely in her "Sunday Best" dress begins to
laugh uncontrollably and then falls over into another man's lap
(not her husband) with her face planted in his crotch and then
her husband too begins to start laughing uncontrollably as they
both slither to the floor. This apparent spiritual manifestation
is contagious and spreads among the crowd all the while Kenneth
Hagin looses his control and also falls like a drunken man onto
a woman planting his face in her breasts. Later he falls on stage
and has to be helped back up to his feet by a member of his worship
team. Before long, the entire assembly in the forward rows is
out of control and the scene begins looking more like an orgy
feast. Now tell me please, what does that exhibit if not total
demonic influence? How is that which manifested itself an example
of holiness? I tell you truly, that these kind of demonic and
extremely sensual/drunken orgies have occurred countless times
in various assemblies hosted by Kenneth Hagin, Benny Hinn and
all their deceived prote'g'e. Their influence swept the whole
of AOG and various Pentecostal and Four-Square assemblies and
still remains to be an affront to the pattern and teachings of
Jesus.
Many people today, especially among the youth groups are still
being led right into the serpents' pit. Unfortunately, many believe
that when certain powers are manifested, they become a sure sign
of God's holy presence and are thus deceived by tall tales and
yarns spun by the "hireling" who put on these conventions
demonstrating supernatural powers. Men like Benny Hinn and Kenneth
Hagin are paid well for their performances and these events are
all said to be done in order that more are led to Christ and
His salvation. There was no preaching of repentance or the directive
of obedience and selfless service. There most often is the repeating
plea to dig deep into your pockets while under the “demonic
spell†and pull your wallets out to give charitably
to the cause. These "hirelings" have become "fat"
off the many generations that have supported their exhibition
of supernatural powers.
These supposed feasts are an utter abomination to God and His
Godfearing disciples. They in no way exhibit the holy character
of God but in fact are a sharp contrast to what Scripture reveals.
We are admonished to avoid all such teaching that is contrary
and also to test out what we see or hear by the Spirit of truth;
the Word of God. Most people today are seeking to be entertained
rather than being filled with the conviction that accompanies
God's indwelling Spirit. Many do not want to hear that God requires
obedience and few understand that love and obedience are synomonous.
Many are seeking and desiring an easier path to redemption and
are unwilling to accept the judgments that God's Word has already
made upon us. Most are like the multitudes who came from afar
to see Jesus - seeking only to be healed but not desiring the
righteousness that God wanted to impart. Very few then desired
to disciple after Christ's pattern, as few are willing to submit
and surrender to His directive today. Most all just want what
is easy and are led to believe a selfish version of the gospel
rather than the selfless one that Christ patterned for our lives.
Many are led to believe and practice tongues without understanding
that there are different forms, one belonging to God's Elect
angels of spirit and other dialects belonging to the angels which
left their habitation and fell from grace. What does scripture
say of these latter angels?
Matthew 25:41 "Then shall he say also unto them on
the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire,
prepared for the devil and his angels:" This
indicates that the devil is in company with fallen angels.
2 Peter 2:4 "For if God spared not the angels that
sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains
of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;"
Not all angels revere and worship God's Son as they should.
Jude 1:6 "And the angels which kept not their first
estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in
everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great
day." Angels do fall from grace.
Clearly, the above references indicate that among the host of
angels, some became disobedient and were cast down while others
still remain obedient ministering to the needs of those who are
saved. When after a long exhortation on the spiritual gifts apportioned
to the true Church, Paul admonishing that love is the greatest
thing, he reveals that some tongues are indeed angelic in nature.
1 Corinthians 13:1 "Though I speak with the tongues
of men and of angels, and have not charity [love], I am become
as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal." But Paul
makes it clear that love is the first commandment and John affirms
the same. 2 John 1:5-6 "And now I beseech thee, lady,
not as though I wrote a new commandment unto thee, but that
which we had from the beginning, that we love one another. And
this is love that we walk after his commandments. This is
the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye

The point I am making here is that among the charismatic congregations,
many are taught and led to believe that one must speak in tongues
before he/she can show themselves to be filled with God's Spirit.
This just isn't so and I discussed that at length in a prior
Scroll, Volume III No.4. Clearly, legitimate tongues are the
lesser of the spiritual gifts and when used, should be used for
the edification of the Church as are all the other gifts intended
to be so employed. But within the many charismatic assemblies
like the Benny Hinn and Kenneth Hagin shows, tongues were used
for a sign to show that God was in their presence. Yet, when
you witness what manifested itself afterwards, it becomes clear
that these 'tongue-speaking' heretics were speaking the voices
of demons and not God's Elect angels of spirit. Would God allow
such ungodliness and perverted behavior if it were indeed his
angels speaking? Likely not, so again, I warn and reprove that
all should be careful with the usage of angelic and human tongues.
There are many different kinds and if one tongue leads you to
act or behave in an ungodly manner, then that tongue is not edifying
your person. If another tongue leads you to believe falsehoods
or worse, practice various forms of idolatry or undisciplined
sensuality or unfruitful self-abasement, then consider yourself
warned " IT IS NOT OF GOD!
It is not I that has passed judgment on such men or pronounced
condemnation upon others who follow them. The Word of God does
this well all by itself and requires no special interpretation
by me or of men to understand and discern. It does require that
one be endowed with God's indwelling Spirit to discern the difference
between what is real and what is not. It also requires a great
deal of humility and acceptance that we are being called as a
holy people unto God for His own possession and not a people
who usurp God's authority or put Christ to shame. One must recognize
that a complete and total surrender to Christ is paramount in
order to receive a calling or be commissioned.
We all need a safe refuge and place to fellowship. May He bless
you richly with His divine wisdom and discernment, I pray with
all sincerity and love for the truth and our scattered brothers'
abroad, AMEN
