And
the times we are now in… My dear brethren, friends and neighbors, Greetings once again. I bid you all shalom and pray that our Lord be praised in all your households for the ongoing work being done in the fields of harvest. This particular Scroll only edifies and enhances further - a deeper look into what time we are now living. At times in the past, I have shared the articles and letters of other Godfearing brethren to support and confirm what the Spirit of our Lord is conveying to and through many of us. The bulk of this Scroll ties in the political atmosphere of our current world affairs with what many of us see unfolding from the pages of ancient prophesy found in our beloved Bibles. Though portions of this Scroll may be prophetic in nature and serve as warning to all believers about the unfolding political chaos surrounding us, it is not necessarily intended to be viewed as hard core fact. Much of what is being presented here correlates well with the prophetic scriptures and should be considered carefully as we seek to prepare ourselves for the increasing adversity and pre-millennial return of our Lord Christ Jesus. Ron White, a Godfearing brother, in response to an
ongoing dialogue between other Godfearing men from Jack Hook’s cc group, wrote
the following article. Jack Hook is another beloved brother in Christ who heads
up his own web ministry, “ There are at times differences between us as we
participate and dialogue with one another over the premises that the unadulterated
Word of God establishes. Please focus less on any possible disagreement stated
here and more on the visible evidence being provided. This exchange is designed
to stir your minds up by way of reminder and coach you into giving more serious
thought to your own view and position in regards to America’s involvement with
world affairs and how it might relate to the end times we are now entering. At
the very least, that which is presented here is thought provoking and may even
inspire you to look deeper into the long hidden mysteries first spoken of by
Daniel the Prophet. As you read this, I want everyone to ask himself or herself
one question in particular. Are we the last generation Jesus spoke of when
discussing the end times? Brother Ron White writes: I don't claim to be an eschatologist but a mere
student of the Word. Prophetic Scripture is one of my heartthrobs for study. Jack Hook seems to be right in his identification of
"Mystery" Babylon as described in Rev. 18 - 19:5 that (if it's a
"city" as stated), the only two cities on earth today that meets all
descriptions are NYC and/or Wash., D.C., and if it is a state/country, the only
nation on earth today that meets all descriptions is the USA. That's where Jack Hook and I part company (correction,
"disagree"). I see absolutely nothing in Scripture that identifies
the Antichrist beast with the President of the POINT 1. Rev. 17:10, 11 provide
specific descriptions of who the Antichrist beast is. "There are also seven kings (world leaders). Five have fallen (died, been killed), one is (alive, the sixth), and the other has not yet come (the
seventh). And when he (the seventh) comes,
he must continue a short time. The
beast that was, and is not, is himself also the eighth, and is of the
seven, and is going to perdition." The only group of nations on earth today that
comprised seven, then eight, is the G-8 economic nations that was seven until
Russia was added in the mid-1990s, which then became the G-8. The U.S.
President can in NO WAY be the "eighth" because he was one of the
original seven. Only the President of Russia meets this description. (There is
no other description in Daniel or elsewhere that specifically identifies this
personality or that describes a personality that can fit this description. The
Bible doesn't contradict itself. Only human opinions do this.) POINT 2. Kato, you asked what nation
gets destroyed by the ten kings. None of those you listed -- not Iran, Britain,
France, Norway that are specifically identified -- if these nations are
destroyed in the great earthquake, they must be in the phrase "...and the cities of the nations
fell." First, "mystery" Babylon has a great
earthquake as the first destructive activity (Rev. 16:18, 19). "Then
the seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air and a loud voice came out of
the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, 'It is done!' And there were
noises and thunderings and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake as
had not occurred since men were on the earth. Now the great city was divided
into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. And great Babylon was
remembered before God, to give her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of His
wrath." A massive earthquake that divides America into three
parts would also meet the Rev. 18:10 descriptions, "Alas, alas, that great city
Babylon, that mighty city! For in one hour your judgment has come,"
and Rev. 18:2, "And he (the angel)
cried
mightily with a loud voice, saying, 'Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen,
and has become a dwelling place of demons, a prison for every foul spirit, and
a cage for every unclean and hated bird!' " The ten horn leaders/nations burn
"mystery" Babylon with fire as described in Rev. 18:8,
"And she will be utterly burned with fire, for strong is the Lord God who
judges her." But it's Rev. 17:16 that tells us that it's the
ten kings who burn her with fire: "And the ten horns which you saw
on the beast, these will hate the harlot, make her desolate and naked, eat her
flesh and burn her with fire. For God has put it in their (the
ten kings/ten horns) hearts to fulfill His purpose, to be of one
mind, and to give their kingdom to the beast, until the words of God are
fulfilled." Please note; It's also God who puts these things in
these evil kings' hearts to do these destructive things. Similar to God's
calling evil King Nebuchadnezzar of old Babylon "My instrument"
after the Chaldeans/Babylonians sacked the southern kingdom of Judah and
Jerusalem in 586 B.C. and God's calling King Sennacherib of Syria "My
instrument" after that evil king sacked and took captive the
people of the northern kingdom of Israel in 722 B.C. For those who don't think
God brings judgment on His own people, please read about His doing this on the
divided kingdoms of old Israel/Judah. What God did to His first chosen under
the Old Covenant, He's about to do to His second chosen under the New Covenant.
POINT 3. [In our shared responses] Several have
indicated that the woman harlot mystery Babylon isn't destroyed until after the
tribulation or during the Gog-Magog war or other times. First, America/harlot "mystery" Babylon is
destroyed at Rev. 14:7,8, which is DURING the tribulation period. God's "wrath"
doesn't come until Revelation 16. "Then I heard a loud voice from the
temple saying to the seven angels, 'Go and pour out the bowls of wrath of God
on the earth.' " Second, the "church" the "body of
Christ" goes through the seven seals and the seven "trumpet judgments"
which are God's "Judgments" NOT God's "wrath". God's "wrath"
begins with the "bowl" or "vial" judgments at Rev. 16.
The "rapture" [first resurrection] happens at Rev. 11:15 which is the
seventh and "last trumpet" as Paul wrote in 1 Cor. 15:51, 52. Third, harlot "mystery" Babylon is
destroyed during God's "judgment" and before God's
"bowl/vial" wrath -- it is destroyed near the end of the
tribulation, as discussed below. POINT 4. There is only one
resurrection of saints, not two or more "resurrections" (plural) of
saints. Rev. 20:4, 5 says, "And
I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I
saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for
the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not
received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and
reigned with Christ for a thousand years. But the rest of the (wicked) dead did not live again until the thousand
years were finished. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy
is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death
has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign
with Him a thousand years." To reiterate, the "first" resurrection
is of saints, those who died in Jesus, when the one single resurrection happens.
The "second" resurrection doesn't happen until the end of the 1,000
years, after the Millennium, and that "second" resurrection is of
the wicked dead, NOT saints. Folks with a pre-trib view have to come up
with something to support their multiple pre-trib resurrection and rapture
before the tribulation and another resurrection and rapture AFTER the
tribulation. It isn’t gonna happen! Any "second" resurrection is of
the wicked dead. The resurrection of the wicked dead, identified as the
"second" resurrection, is AFTER the Millennium. Further, in all the
NT, all writers refer to only ONE more "coming" [singular] of Jesus,
and Jesus taught that this is "after the
tribulation of those days" [Matthew 24:29-31; Mark 13:24-27]. Lastly, folks with a pre-trib rapture view
essentially, indirectly by assumption, accuse Jesus of omitting, forgetting, or
getting Alzheimer's or dementia in not mentioning in His lengthy discourse of
last days events, any mention of the "blessed hope" of believers by their
pre-trib rapture view. Because God sent His Son to die for all mankind, what NT
Christian would presume that God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit,
and all NT writers would forget, omit, get dementia, or not mention the "blessed
hope" of believers in Matthew 24, Mark 13, Luke 21, or
elsewhere? Such a view, teaching, and belief is not only
dangerous for those who hold such a view, but it will likely cause many to
become apostate, when millions of professing Christians realize they are
"in" the tribulation and weren't "caught away" or
"raptured" by angels before or at the beginning of the tribulation
period (like Peter, they will renounce knowing Christ when the going gets
tough). Some will know who this personality is, when he "confirms
a covenant with many" that establishes the beginning of the 70th
week of Daniel; THEN we will know factually, unequivocally, we are in the near
"middle" of the tribulation when the Antichrist beast breaks his
"covenant with many" and "sits/stands in the temple claiming to
be God," and demands worship of his image, name, or mandatory
"mark" on the forehead or right hand (probable injected chip). Then there will be no doubt. But, some
will still hang on to their false beliefs, and Jesus enumerated their "new
doctrine" they will then teach in Matt. 24:23-27 and Mark 13:21-23, perhaps
claiming there "was indeed" a pre-tribulation rapture (which they
somehow "missed"), and will report seeing Jesus "in the upper room" or "in the field" or over here or over there. Jesus said, "Do not
believe them." Millions will become apostate by this man-made
doctrine that Jesus never taught! Jesus taught about the "blessed hope" of
believers, and Jesus taught the rapture and catching away of believers would be "after the tribulation of those days." This may cause consternation among many, perhaps
anger with others; it is a sad truth that Jesus told us beforehand what would
happen -- in accurate truthful detail. My prayer is that believers in Christ
will re-read Scripture in view of these thoughts, then prepare spiritually and
in practical ways (oil for lamps, Matt. 25, includes both) for those times of
God's judgment that is surely coming on the church, the bride of Christ, to
test, try, and purify as pure gold, to make His bride without spot or wrinkle. The
first 2300 days is God's "judgment" -- God's "wrath" comes
only beginning with Revelation 16 and "vial/bowl" judgments, NOT
Revelation 4:1. POINT 5. Revelation and Daniel speak
of the second part of the tribulation as "42 months" and "1260
days" and "1290 days". Many inject their personal opinions that
the seven years consists of seven years times a 360-day Jewish year to equal
2520 days, and some multiply our 365 day calendar by seven. (Ignore such
conjecture and human opinion/extrapolations.) Daniel 8:14 tells us the entire
duration of the tribulation period, beginning with verse 13: "Then I heard a holy one speaking and
another holy one said to that certain one who was speaking, 'How long will the
vision be concerning the daily sacrifices and the transgression of desolation,
the giving of both the sanctuary and the host to be trampled underfoot?' And he
said to me, 'For two thousand
three hundred days, then the sanctuary shall be cleansed.' "
2300 days. Jesus cleanses the temple/sanctuary at His return. (Math teachers
may indicate that 2300 days is "not” a full seven years -- neither was
the 68 years captivity of Judah a full 70 years as prophesied by Jeremiah.
Neither will the full 1335 days be completed, as explained below -- all
were/are/will be "cut
short" or shortened in duration. Jesus said, “these days will be
"cut short" for the sake of the elect.”) POINT 6. The number of days of the
second part of the tribulation (from both books of Daniel and Revelation),
again, is "42 months" and "1260 days" and "1290
days" and "1335 days." Daniel 12:11
- 13 tell us when the one single resurrection happens, and the angel described
this period "counting from" the near "midpoint" (or "midst")
of the tribulation, which is when the abomination of desolation is set up, as
Jesus described in Matthew 24:15 and Mark 13:14 and Paul in 2 Thes. 2:4: "And from the time that the
daily sacrifice is taken away, and the abomination of desolation is set up,
there shall be one thousand two hundred and ninety (1290) days. Blessed is he
who waits, and comes to the one thousand three hundred and thirty-five days
(1335) (which is the resurrection of dead saints and the
Second Coming of Jesus). But you
(Daniel), go your way till the end; for you shall rest, and will arise to your
inheritance (the resurrection of dead saints including Daniel) at the end of
the days." (Daniel is resurrected at the end of the days,
which was just stated as 1335 days.) (All references to 1260, 1290, and 1335
are descriptions of the second part of the tribulation period -- none of these
describe the first part, as some presume. For the doubters, pay close
attention to the "word" descriptions of these events, not merely the
numbers -- there can be no other application of these days, times, and
events, except to apply all of them to the second and last part of the
tribulation period, Daniel's 70th week of years.) God always has reasons for doing anything. That God
had specific different days listed that describe the second part of the
tribulation is likely significant. But why? What are the possible events that
happen at or mark the 1260th, 1290th, and 1335th days? By the above quote of the angel to Daniel, it
appears that the resurrection/rapture of saints happens at the 1335th day. Other clues for the "possible" repeat "possible"
events that happen at the 1260th and 1290th days are found in Revelation 14:6
and 14:7,8. These two events are still DURING the 2300-day tribulation period,
so it will still be possible to accept Christ during this period. Rev. 14:6 describes an angel who preaches the gospel
one last time as the very last opportunity to accept eternal life before God's
"wrath" which is one significant event. "Then I saw another angel
flying in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach to those
who dwell on the earth -- to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people--"
(This is significant, because this is the "blessed
hope" of all believers and the primary
purpose in God's sending His Son to earth to die for mankind, and the basis for
the New Covenant.) Rev. 14:8 describes the "timing" of and
sequential event of the fall of harlot "mystery" Babylon by the angel
saying, "Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she has
made all the nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication."
(Evidently, this event is also significant, in that God had several verses and
over two full chapters describing this event in Revelation, in addition to
descriptions of Babylon's fall in Jeremiah 50, 51.) Although Scripture doesn't specifically say the
angels preach the everlasting gospel at the 1260th day. Neither does Scripture
specifically state that Babylon falls at the 1290th day. However, these two events seem to be the most
significant events before the 1335th day, which is evidently RESURRECTION
DAY. Plus, both of these events happen sequentially before the "reaping
of the earth's harvest" (the rapture) in Rev. 14:14-16 -- the
resurrection and rapture are one single event that evidently happen on the
1335th day. POSSIBLE CONCLUSIONS: 1. Angels preach the gospel
one last time to every soul on earth at the 1260th day of the second part of
the tribulation. 2. Mystery Babylon, the woman
harlot, USA, falls at the 1290th day of the second part of tribulation. (The
"woman harlot" that is "mystery Babylon" of Revelation 17
& 18 must not be confused with the "woman" of Rev. 12 who flees
into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, that they should
feed her (the woman "believers") there one thousand two hundred and
sixty (1260) days." Rev. 12:14 & 17 describes this "woman"
as "But the woman was given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly
into the wilderness to her place where she is nourished for a time (year),
times (two years), and a half time (half a year) from the presence of the
serpent (dragon Antichrist beast).... And the dragon was enraged with the woman
(believers), and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring (converts
to Jesus), who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony
of Jesus Christ." This "woman" of Rev. 12 can in no
way be describing the "woman" great harlot mystery
Babylon! Only Satan, the author of confusion and the accuser of the
brethren, might do such a thing!) 3. The one single resurrection
happens at the 1335th day, which is the same time Jesus comes in the air and to
earth (the rapture) at His next "coming" singular. The 1335th day is
"assumed" to be simultaneous with the 2300th day of the completed
70th week of years. That nobody knows the day or hour, and it would be
easy to compute these days -- Jesus said the days would be "cut short" in Matthew
24:22, "And
unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect's
sake, those days will be shortened." A precedent was established in the OT when the
70-year captivity of Judah was prophesied by Jeremiah, noted by Daniel 9:2. In
calculating the time of the 70 years, the first return of exiles was actually
68 years, not 70 as prophesied, so God
has cut short such prophesied times before. Paul said in 1 Thes. 5:1
that we would know the "times" (years) and "seasons"
(quarter years). Further, Jesus said in Matt. 24:33 "So you also, when you see all these
things, know that it is near -- at the doors!" Therefore, God will evidently "cut short" the 1335 days
also, so that neither man nor angels in heaven know the day or hour of Jesus'
return, but only the Father. However, those still alive and watching will know
within a period of 45 days of Jesus' return and the resurrection of dead
saints. 4. Using the 2300 days as the
complete 7-year period of the last week of years of Daniel, then subtracting
the last 1335 days of the second part, the remainder is 965 days as a
"possible" duration of the first part of the tribulation. If this is
true, then at the approximate 965th day, we can expect the Antichrist to
stand/sit in the rebuilt temple in Jerusalem claiming to be God, which will
mark the mid-point of the tribulation. (The KJV is the more accurate
translation of Daniel 9:27 that says "in the midst"
(not "middle" as some suppose) of the week: "Then he shall confirm a
covenant with many for one week; but in the midst of the week he shall
bring an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations shall
be one who makes desolate." This marks the near
"mid-point" and end of the 965th day, and this event will be the
proof positive identification of who the Antichrist beast is, even if some
don't agree with his word-description identification from Rev. 17:10, 11,
above. 5. That the Antichrist beast "confirms"
a covenant (Dan. 9:27) is indicative
that the covenant or peace accord is already existent when it is confirmed. (One
can't "confirm" something that doesn't exist.) Assuming we are in
the last of "last days" today, the covenant or peace initiative or
"covenant" in existence today is the "Roadmap" for Middle
East peace as contrived by the "Quartet" (U.N., EU, Russia, U.S.),
which virtually guarantees the decimation and destruction of Israel (but it
won't happen, because Jesus returns to prevent Israel's complete destruction --
Luke 21 however says that Jerusalem will be surrounded by armies and again be "trampled under foot by the Gentiles until the times of
the Gentiles are fulfilled" which will be the third time this
will have happened -- once in 586 B.C., once in 70 AD, and once yet future). The
day that "Roadmap" is "confirmed," (watch for Russian
Pres. Vladimir Putin or his successor to do this, based on Rev. 17:10, 11,
described above), the 7-year tribulation clock starts ticking! (Note
also this is "not" merely opinion of some Russian boogey-man or an
evil "Hitler" type personality as many suppose and have opined for
centuries about various evil personalities, but is based entirely on Scripture,
Revelation 17:10, 11, described above.) POINT 7. Revelation 18:4 is in NO
WAY the resurrection nor the Rapture as some suppose. The command to "come
out of her My people" is a command to come out of "her"
describing the harlot or whore "mystery Babylon", with a warning, "lest
you share in her sins and receive of her plagues." This is a command
to believers, which gives us the choice to "come out" or not -- we
NEVER have the option of "coming out" of anything at the Rapture. At
the Rapture, God is the One who "chooses"
who is or is not raptured and who does or does not meet Jesus in the air! Further,
those who are part of the "harlot" or "whore" described, as
"mystery" Babylon will not make it into God's eternal kingdom!
Such would be blasphemy! POINT 8. Some interject a Gog-Magog
war where it isn't stated. The only Gog-Magog war specifically identified in
Scripture and when it happens is Revelation 20:7-15 which happens after
the 1,000-year Millennium. Ezekiel 38-39 describes this war in detail. (The
previous war is the battle of Armageddon, detailed at Rev. 19:17-21 that
happens at Jesus' return when Jesus, His armies and angels destroy the
Antichrist beast and his armies surrounding Jerusalem at Jesus' next coming.
This is NOT identified as a Gog-Magog war as some suppose! Nor is there any
Scripture that indicates we are now in or are about to enter into any kind of
Gog-Magog war today or the near future.) POINT 9. As a last point that
shouldn't have to be mentioned among genuine believers in Christ -- just
because someone "believes" something does not make that belief
true. Scripture alone should be used as the basis for basing all Christian
beliefs, NT doctrines, and conclusions. Dreams, visions, prophecies, and
other things have their place, but if or when they contradict, change, alter,
or refute clearly stated Scripture, they are suspect at best, entirely false at
worst. Every denomination on earth has its false, man-made doctrines without
exception. Humans are fallible, including yours truly, but God and His Word are
infallible and inerrant. Perhaps this is the reason we have so many "denominations"
or "factions" or "divisions" or "parts of the
whole", all of which are synonyms in referring to the "church"
and "body of Christ." Trust Scripture itself and what it says, not
necessarily what anyone else says or I may say, and we will all do fine. That
which others "say about" Scripture is fallible and potentially full
of errors. Scripture itself is not. One can never go wrong in basing all,
repeat all New Testament Christian doctrines of any value or worth on
the teachings of Jesus -- to begin and end with the teachings of Jesus alone!
Those beliefs and doctrines that don't begin and end with Jesus' teachings are
suspect at best, false at worst. The doctrine that begins at Revelation 4:1
is one of the most glaring examples that will cause many to renounce Christ
during the coming apostasy and cause millions to burn eternally. POINT 10. For those interested, the
particular stage of "end times" we are likely experiencing today is the "apostasy"
stage, but we haven't seen anything yet, compared to that which is coming when
the going gets tough and the "mark" (probable injected computer chip
is required for all commerce by electronic currencies world-wide) is made
mandatory -- then we'll likely see millions become apostate, accept the
mark, and renounce Christ (some will do this based on their belief in a
pre-tribulation rapture doctrine and their belief that they can take this
"mark" because the rapture hasn't yet happened; some teachers
have already told their followers to "take the chip, if it is required to
buy and sell; after all, the pre-tribulation rapture hasn't happened yet, and
we know that whoever doesn't provide [food, clothing, necessities] for his own
is worse than an infidel"). The near simultaneous other event with "apostasy"
is the "confirmation" of the "covenant with many"
by the Antichrist beast, and that single event seems to be very near in time.
The biblical reference for these two events is Paul's emphatic statements in 2
Thessalonians 2:1-4. When the "Roadmap" for Middle East peace is "confirmed,"
this writer will go out on a limb and make an emphatic statement that we are
likely "in the tribulation period of
the last and 70th week of Daniel" from that day onward. POINT 11. Some get hung up on
attempting to identify who the "ten horns" are or might be, but they
might consider something even more sinister that may come before the ten
horn-kings in Revelation 17:12-17.... A couple of verses earlier, from
Revelation 17:10 (please review my POINT
1, above), an event that may shatter their world, your world, and my world:
For a really scary consideration and application of
Revelation 17:10, "There are
also seven kings. Five have fallen (died, been killed or assassinated), one is
(alive, the sixth), and the other (the seventh) has not yet come (into office
or on the scene when these events happen). And when he (the seventh) comes
(into office or on the scene), he must continue a short time.” (Parenthetically, recall that I described the next
verse, Rev. 17:11 in POINT 1 above,
about the eighth, who in today's times and by applying
the rationale that he can only be the "eighth" member of the G-8
economic leaders, and who himself is likely the Antichrist beast, the President
of Russia who became the "eighth" of the former G-7.) Now, if this application is accurate (I stress the word "if") about
these seven that become eight "kings" or national leaders -- five
of the original seven G-7 members are likely assassinated!
(The odds of five national "kings" or "presidents"
and prime ministers out of six to die natural deaths in a near time
frame would be one in infinity - such has never happened in all of history.)
(Also, we can exclude from consideration or count of the "sixth" who
"has not yet come" into office or on the scene, because we know who
is in office and living today.) If true, this means OUR OWN
President has an 83% chance of "possibly", repeat
"possibly" being assassinated! (The math is five divided
by six, five-sixth or 5/6, which equals 83.333%!) Further, we note in Revelation 13 extensive
descriptions about the Antichrist beast who receives a mortal head wound that
is healed (v. 3) and will be "given authority to continue for 42
months" (v.4), "to make war with the saints and to
overcome the saints" and "authority over every tribe, tongue and
nation" (v.7); the "second beast" (false
prophet) "performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down from
heaven on the earth in the sight of men...and deceives those who dwell on the
earth by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast (Antichrist),
telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast (Antichrist) who
was wounded by the sword (military weapon) and lived (vv.
12-14); "he was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast that
the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship
the image of the beast to be killed. He causes all, both small and great, rich
and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their
foreheads" (v. 16), "and that no one may buy or sell except
one who has the mark or the name of the beast (Antichrist), or the number of
his name" (v17). Note also that the events of Revelation 13 are
"during," perhaps near the very beginning of, the 7-year tribulation
period -- possibly soon after the "confirmation" of the
"Roadmap" covenant with many, Daniel 9:27. By combining these thoughts and descriptions about
these eight kings (national leaders) and the events themselves as specifically
described, we might make some further rational "possible" conclusions (please note I precede every
statement with the word "if"): 1. If or when five national
leaders are killed or assassinated, this is the most likely time the
Antichrist beast (the eighth of the G-7) receives "a mortal head wound, yet
lives." 2. If five of today's G-8
leaders are killed or assassinated and the eighth (Antichrist beast)
receives a mortal head wound, yet lives, it is highly probable that attempts on
the lives of all these national leaders happens at the same time! 3. If five of today's national
leaders are killed or assassinated, including the President of the United
States, and if the President of Russia receives a head wound, yet is somehow
resurrected and lives (some will hail his "resurrection" to life
as a miracle), won't these events result in the world being in a
catastrophic state of chaos and possible anarchy? After assassination attempts
on six of the most powerful leaders on earth, five of which were successful,
and a sixth nearly successful! What better time for the Antichrist beast to be
resurrected from the dead (from "his mortal head wound, yet lives"),
who is already the Chairman of the G-8 economic nations today, to become the
international world leader dictator, who appoints ten international
"kings" as regional heads and leaders over all the nations of the
world (perhaps divided into ten geographic regions) to attempt to bring peace
and stability [security] out of international chaos? What better time for al Qaeda and all Muslims of the
world to rise up and strike all "infidels"
with death, so they can rule the world! (Along with 20 million dissident
illegal aliens, who hate America, joined by 80 million Hispanic citizen
sympathizers with illegal aliens! Add to these numbers all the dissident
militants such as those who burned a portion of Los Angeles after the Rodney
King verdict who burned a part of the city, and all the police and National
Guard combined couldn't stop the mayhem!) 4. If five of the G-8 leaders
are assassinated and a "possible" assassination attempt is made on a
sixth (the eighth of the G-8), who would be the most likely culprits to do such
dastardly, cowardly deeds? Al Qaeda? Muslim extremists? What about the folks
who pretty much run the world today and pull every leader's strings to do their
will, the so-called "New World Order" crowd? Assassination attempts on
six of eight would seem to indicate an "inside job" by some one
or a group within. Hmmm-m-m-m. I don't know. Scripture doesn't say. 5. Revelation 17:12-18 describe
these events in detail: " 'The ten
horns which you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdom as yet, but they
receive authority for one hour (temporarily) as kings with the beast (Antichrist). These are of one mind, and they will give their power and authority
to the beast (Antichrist).
These will make war with the Lamb (Jesus Christ) (after Jesus' return
to earth at a later time), and the
Lamb will overcome them, for He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and those
who are with Him are called, chosen, and faithful.' Then he said to me, 'The
waters (peoples) which you
saw, where the harlot ("mystery" Babylon) sits (NOT seven literal mountains as some suppose), are peoples, multitudes, nations, and
tongues. And the ten horns which you saw on the beast, these will hate the
harlot (the harlot "woman" mystery Babylon), make her desolate and naked, eat her
flesh and burn her with fire. For God has put it in their hearts to fulfill His
purpose, to be of one mind, and to give their kingdom to the
beast, until the words of God
are fulfilled. And the woman (harlot
"mystery" Babylon) whom you
saw is that great city which reigns over the kings of the earth.' " My best "guess" (a "guess" is
NOT quoting nor on par with written Scripture as others seem to do) as of the
near end of 2007 is that the EU is one of those "ten horn" regional
powers who "give their authority to the beast Antichrist." A
"possible" other nine "regions" of the world who are
organized under one "confederation" of nations or the U.N. could be
the already-on-paper and ready-to-be-implemented 1) North American Union (NAU,
comprising Canada, Mexico, and U.S.); 2) Latin America; 3) South America; 4)
Pacific Rim nations (Bush met with them last month, Oct. 2007, including China,
Japan, Australia, N. & S. Korea, Vietnam, etc.); 5) South Asia (India,
Pakistan, Thailand, etc.); 6) South Africa; 7) Arab "oil cartel"
nations; 8) Russia; 9) the independent "Commonwealth of Nations"
formerly part of the Soviet Union. For counting purposes, the 10th is the EU. That some suppose these "ten horns" as
somehow being today's nations that were then former Roman Empire nations is
most unlikely. What nations or groups of nations of the old Roman Empire have
sufficient power, political will, and financial and military power to give to
the Antichrist beast to rule the world? The entire EU with all the power of
NATO (including the U.S. and Canada) couldn't even control the Balkans, much
less the entire world! As powerful as the U.S. is, we can't even extend our military
power any more than current wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, and the U.S. (who
sits as "queen," Rev. 18:7) is tremendously more powerful,
influential, and financially able to do more than all EU nations combined -- so
any thought of the "ten horns" being one or more nations of the old
former Roman Empire in the 21st century is only in someone's imaginative
conjecture and a virtual impossibility, regardless of what someone
"believes." More likely, all nations of the world will probably
be divided into ten geographic regions, and these ten regions will then meet
the biblical descriptions of the "ten horns" of Revelation and
Daniel. These ten regions will likely have "temporary" leaders
appointed or elected (if they don't already have an existing leader) "for
one hour" who then "give their power and authority to the
beast" Antichrist. The whole world will be supportive of this one-world
ruler dictator, because he will promise "peace and safety" during
the most chaotic time in all of history after five of the G-8 leaders are
likely assassinated and a sixth is almost assassinated, but lives to rule the
world. In actuality, whoever is the U.S. President during
this time likely has a 100% chance of being assassinated, rather than a mere
83% chance, simply because of his stature and position as the world's most
powerful leader whom someone wants dead. Bush? Hillary Clinton? I don't know.
But watch for this to happen immediately before or shortly after the
"Roadmap" is "confirmed" with many. Then watch for Putin or
his successor to receive a deadly head wound, yet survive, to become the world
dictator Antichrist -- NOT by opinion, but by the descriptions of Revelation
17:10, 11. POINT 12. If none of this has got
your attention to prayerfully consider and to cause one to not only re-examine
Scripture and get one's heart and spiritual house in order, nothing will. False
doctrines won't cut it! Scripture is true. Without knowledge of Scripture, one
won't have a clue about current events happening in the world today or the near
future. Most world citizens, sadly including the majority of professing
Christians, will support the one-world dictator and take the injected computer
chip, so they can continue to buy groceries, fill their gas tanks with gasoline
(in lieu of keeping their spiritual gasoline tanks full of the Holy Ghost), and
end up in the lake of fire that burns forever. Sorry folks -- I don't read
of exceptions for those who were "once-saved-always-saved"
who are spared from the lake of fire. Whoever takes the mark in their right
hand or forehead, whoever worships the image or name of the beast Antichrist
dictator, will burn eternally! No exceptions! For anyone who makes comments, quotes, or forwards

caveats such as "if" or "if this is true" or
"possible" or "likely" and other such things that are

as many believers as possible to get one's spiritual house in order! ASAP! Then KEEP one's
spiritual house in order! Keep one's "spiritual gasoline tank" FULL
of the Holy Spirit DAILY! For it will be those who don't "love their lives to the death" or more than
death who are overcomers. "He who overcomes shall inherit all
things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son." (Rev. 21:7)
Readers had better hope the "Roadmap" is
NOT "confirmed" at the tentatively scheduled Nov. 26, 2007 peace
summit in Annapolis, MD. What if the Roadmap is "confirmed" in the
next few weeks or months, followed by assassination of five world leaders and a
sixth world leader is believed dead, but survives and lives to become the world
dictator Antichrist? What if these events happen before the next election? Are
you prepared? A tantalizing thought: Every time we obey the
command to "pray for the peace of Jerusalem" which won't come
until the Prince of Peace comes back to earth, we are actually praying for
all of the above events to happen beforehand! For anyone who might want to learn other thoughts
that may allow one to "escape all these
things" while still on earth, please ask. Scripture provides the
answers. (A pre-tribulation rapture is not
the answer.) Remember also that we are to be anxious about nothing. Plus,
those who practice anger do not inherit the kingdom (Galatians 5:19-21) (don't
go to heaven), which includes those who may believe in false doctrines who tend
toward anger or react in angry ways, if or when their pet false doctrine is questioned
or proven false. Are there any true "WATCHERS" out there?
What are you "watching" for, The next big paycheck? Next Sunday's
tickling ear sermon followed by favorite football games? Your
"increase" by tithes and offerings? A prosperity gospel, A replacement
theology? Winning the lottery? Any normal human will go thru first, denial,
followed by anger, then bargaining or rationalization, then depression, then
finally acceptance, with either a hopeful or hopeless outlook -- this includes
those who hold to false doctrines who learn truth. I did. You will, if you
haven't examined Scripture to learn the truth about end times. Ron White P.S. Doug, the reason I truly wish a pre-trib
rapture doctrine were true is stated above -- millions of them are going to
become apostate and burn -- that includes virtually every Christian I know or
that I'm related to by blood! I stated true convictions about what I wish were
true but isn't, contrary to your objections and counter statements. Perhaps you
don't care about those millions of souls, but I do! Jews aren't the only ones
with scales over their eyes! One of the biggest, most blinding
"scales" over Christian eyes today is one called a "pre-tribulation dispensationalist
rapture doctrine" and another is the "eternal security doctrine" of once-saved-always-saved "scales" that blind
professing Christians to truth! “Straight is the way
and narrow the gate that leads to life” -- few will enter! HOW I
TRULY WISH a pre-trib rapture doctrine were true!!! Rev. 14:4 gives us an indication about how many
"professing" Christians may make it to heaven when Scripture referred
to the 144,000 Jews as "firstfuits
to God and to the Lamb" -- "first fruits" means
"tenth" or "tithe". This refers to the 144,000 Jews from
the 12 tribes of Israel, but I would imagine that Gentile Christians will
likely be about the same -- a "tenth" of professing believers, or one
in ten, perhaps fewer in the U.S. who are soft, complacent, fat, lukewarm, and
unprepared. Probably over 80% of evangelical Christians believe they are going
to be yanked off the earth in a pre-trib rapture and don't give a hoot about
anything else, so perhaps 1/10 of the remaining 20%. Not very many. Doug, you admonished me a few times to RE-READ your
article and web site -- perhaps you will find it in your heart to read and
re-read the above, consider the distinct possibility of events happening as
stated -- THEN perhaps you will then understand a bit better why I am so
reluctant to grab hold of or believe every type of stated possibility out there
that cannot be confirmed by written Scripture. You may be an excellent
mathematician and teacher. Great! I was a pretty good intelligence analyst who
served as the senior American officer to NATO regarding the Soviet Army! When
the Holy Spirit told me He would use all the background experiences, training,
and years for His glory and honor, I think He meant it! I have never said, nor

what I do know is probably pretty close -- A LOT CLOSER than a pre-trib rapture

saying ‘he is right and everyone else is
wrong.’ Though bold in his assertions and stated understanding, he leaves
room for the ifs and possibilities. Where Ron and I agree whole-heartedly is
that the “pre-tribulation rapture” view is just plain UNBIBLICAL. I’ve noticed
that some among those in Jack Hook’s cc group have over the last year agreed
that the forthcoming prophesied resurrection event is a “pre-millennial” event
and NOT a pre-tribulation event. Folks, you can’t get any clearer on the stated
position of our Lord more than Christ’s own words. That the promised
resurrection of faithful ones (saints) will be immediately "after the tribulation of those
days." As I have indicated in multiple prior
Scrolls over the last year or so, Ron and I are also in profound agreement that
many believers who have maintained a “pre-tribulation” rapture view will be the
very ones who become apostate. They will be unable to recognize the signs that
are staring them in the eyes! Like Ron, this too saddens me a great deal
because pre-tribbers completely misunderstand and therefore miss out on the “blessed hope.” Everyone is
going to have one last opportunity to repent and be saved on the final warning
given by the Angel who cries out in earnest, “the everlasting gospel to every
nation, tribe tongue and people.” I stand in full agreement with Ron
prayerfully, “that believers in Christ will re-read Scripture in view of these
thoughts, then prepare spiritually and in practical ways (oil for lamps, Matt.
25, includes both) for those times of God's judgment that is surely coming
on the church, the bride of Christ, to test, try, and purify as pure gold, to
make His bride without spot or wrinkle.” In Point 11
above, Ron states that the possibility of Rome somehow being a part of the 10
horns of the beast is unlikely. Ron is speaking in terms of political power and
strategic military might. What Ron does not address is the obvious influence
that Rome has had over our contemporary culture and the role that the Roman
Catholic Church has played in international politics and influence over 17
centuries. Though Rome may not look much like a key player at present, one
might be able to surmise that she has already co-mingled her influence among nations world wide – most especially
from within the authority matrix of the Vatican. One only need look at the
political structure of various governments as well as the physical landscape of
government monuments and stone architecture to discern that Rome has indeed
long been a powerful influence on human government. This commingling is best
described in the Book of Daniel 2:40-43 “And the fourth kingdom shall be strong as
iron: forasmuch as iron breaketh in pieces and subdues all things: and as iron
that breaketh all these, shall it break in pieces and bruise. And whereas thou
sawest the feet and toes, part of potters' clay, and part of iron, the kingdom
shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron,
forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay. And as the toes of
the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly
strong, and partly broken. And whereas
thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the
seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not
mixed with clay.” In addition to the RCC’s influence on governing powers
she has and is still to this day the most powerful influence on man’s religious
matrix including the protestant sectors of divided Christianity. It is at this
current hour the Catholic Church’s mission to bring all denominational faiths
together. This is called ecumenism. For those that follow the errant patterns
of man-made religion, solidarity will likely be the result and this in turn
will become the large group that worships the beast and falls victim the
harlot’s seduction. In my opinion, the Catholic Church perfectly represents the
“Mother
of all Harlots.” As I have pointed out in great detail in prior
Exhortations and Scrolls, this marriage between politics and human religion
began with the legalization of Christianity during Constantine I rulership.
What we see today is the fully matured relationship between harlot and beast,
which was first begat in early Rome. The signs are everywhere. How can anyone
possibly denounce or dismiss the obvious? I beg you brethren, please do not take this information
presented here lightly. This is a matter relevant to all humans on earth –
especially to believers who are destined to be led astray. Do not let pride,
arrogance or indifference be to your downfall. Do not love your lives or your
quaint little churches more than Christ. Rather, you should be hating the world
that is unfolding before us and let your love for God be complete. 1 John 2:15 “Love
not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the
world, the love of the Father is not in him.” Life aboard the Brig Lady Washington My mind is aglow with a plethora of poetic
expression resulting from my recent voyage aboard the Lady Washington. From the
moment I donned the period garb, lovingly referred to as “funnies,” I felt
myself being transported back in time when 18th century explorers
were discovering the west coast of America. From the staged cannon battles
against the Hawaiian Chieftain to handling the halyards and sheets, and bracing
the yardarms, my senses were tingling as I began to experience the life of a
Tall Ship sailor. When in the seaway, the Lady creaked and groaned
plying through the wind tossed waves as any wooden ship of sail would have in
the days of old. We had one advantage that our 18th century
ancestors did not – the use of an 871 Detroit diesel to get us through the
contrary winds and tides. Crossing the Westport and Columbia bars seemed less
difficult than it must have been for Robert Gray and the likes of earlier
explorers. They had no engine and were at the mercy of wind and tide with only
their sail handling experience and determination to rely upon. Being made a watch commander with an assigned crew
was a pleasant surprise and benefit I did not expect. My crewmembers were
responsive and reliable – though young; they appeared fearless in the gale
force winds willing to take on any task necessary to keep our ship safe and
seaworthy. Watching them go aloft up on the ratlines to the main t’gallant in
heavy seas to retie a gasket or to the main topsail to secure her loosened
yardarm and make fast was impressive indeed. Though the Lady performed well in light breezes and stormy gales, in a seaway her main decks were awash much of the time for that is the nature of her design. The continual dousing of salty wave and spray is good for her wooden hull and decks. The saltwater helps to preserve her wooden construction and keeps the planking on her deck and bulwarks tight. The numerous whale and dolphin sightings were an
added treat for all and comforting to the crew after a few days out. The
immense size and grandeur of the Pacific Ocean tends to humble oneself when
upon her waters. When you think about our planet being ¾’s covered by Sea and
Ocean and you reflect upon her enormous depths a man tends to shrink into obscurity
feeling not much larger than an ant in a world of human giants. Vast,
unmeasurable, boundless and free is she the mighty Pacific. The Lady Washington, in all her glory is surely a
ship to inspire poetic expression. Her traditional rig and design sets the
stage for an early American adventure novel. Even the Captains, each of a
particular creed and breed make the adventure aboard a Tall ship more surreal.
For me, this voyage was in part the fulfillment of a childhood dream and one I
intend – God willing – to repeat, perhaps one day as her future Captain. She's
a fine ship indeed!
