Universalism – The Broad Path
Universalism teaches that all are saved by the
atoning sacrifice of Christ and none need repentance nor need to worry
themselves over the possibility that there exists eternal fire, suffering and
torment for unbelievers. This has become a disturbing influence within
Christian circles today that attempts to nullify the purpose of sharing in
Christ’s suffering or living Godly after His selfless pattern. This kind of
thinking also strongly influences many into believing that they won’t suffer
tribulation in the end days before the first resurrection. Universalism does
not appropriately address the concept of godly discipline nor does it understand
the biblical definition of love being an unwavering commitment.
For the most part, there is a universal invitation
for all that suffer to approach and embrace the grace that was afforded us on
the cross by Christ but that does not occur unless one believes with his heart
and confesses with his mouth that Christ Jesus is LORD. It should go without
saying that a genuine admission will lead to the works (fruits) born of
repentance. Paul’s message to the Romans bears this out. Romans 10:9-13 “That
if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt
believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou
shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness;
and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture
saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be
ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same
Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call
upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
Essentially, one kind of suffering is replaced by another
but we are not left without the power (grace) to overcome and be victorious in
the end. Christ’s overcoming example in His desert experience is what we should
look more closely to in order to follow in His footsteps. Jesus demonstrated
for all humanity that if you are abiding the will of your Heavenly Father and
are surrendered unto the indwelling Holy Spirit then an appropriate measure of
grace is given for you to overcome weakness and your sin nature. James 4:7 “Submit
yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he
will flee from you.”
You cannot accept one part of the scriptural message and throw out other
portions merely because you disagree with the implications (suffering) of relentless
rebellion towards God. Suffering is most often precipitated by our own
rebellious nature which often times leads us to seeking self glory rather than
learning to be selfless towards our fellow man. The main reason why the
Christian camps are still very much divided today are because of the selfish
nature of man promoting pride and the refusal to let go of selfish pursuits.
Prejudice is still a strong emotion in humans and that limits the ability of
many to see similarities between differing human cultures. Unbalanced hatreds
are the fruits of ignorance so often found in mankind.
What Jesus patterned for humanity does have a universal application but in
order to embrace it fully, one must be willing to distinguish between human
(worldly) wisdom and divine eternal wisdom. To embrace the divine nature of God
we are exhorted in the New Testament Scriptures to become like the Son of God
so that we too may become legitimate sons of God as opposed to illegitimate
children to God. Obedience and love are synomonyous as defined by the whole of
God's Word and the absence of obedience warrants stern discipline in our lives
delivered by God. In this context, a genuine love is an unwavering commitment
to truth, justice, faith (trust in God) and hope. An unwavering commitment to
following the pattern of "God's only Son" is demonstrating your "trust in God's offering and
example" and so becomes the obedience expected of those who truly
believe. This then is what defines and establishes the true context of your
"love" for God and should naturally be exhibited in your entire
behavior towards your fellow man. So discipline which also causes suffering is
for our good and not for our condemnation. The contextually correct application
here is rendered in the English as "sanctification," which,
according to definition literally means to "set
one's pathway straight."
Many people today have stopped going to church because they see the ridiculous
nature of false worship and religious pretense. Many Churches themselves
practice bigotry and extreme prejudice. It does not take long for the reasoning
intellect to discern hypocrisy. Under the pretense of false spiritual
authority, many preachers and evangelists exercise power and dominion over
their flocks. What some people describe in their earlier church experiences was
abuse, which led to feelings of guilt brought on by the heavy weight of
condemning sermons and beliefs delivered by others. I include myself in that
category and “coming out from under them” is a crucial part of my own witness
and testimony of Christ in me.
I too, once questioned the suffering in people’s
lives and my own out of context. I learned that if you were feeling condemned
at any time, perhaps you were confusing the deeper feelings of conviction,
which the Spirit of God puts in us to set our pathways straight. Conviction
leads to increased awareness and wisdom bearing or leading to the fruit of love
and obedience. Condemnation on the other hand leads to guilt and many hidden
fears and ultimately leaves one feeling hopeless and utterly depressed. This
however does not diminish the need for Godfearing men to deliver warning and
recompense to others who are not obeying the pattern of behaviors exhibited by
Christ and His maturing disciples. Unfortunately, those who don’t understand
the difference between conviction and condemnation often will gravitate towards
the doctrines associated with Universalism. The precepts of Universalism tend
to make one feel safe or secure but they are absent of any real “conviction”
which is attributable only to the Holy Spirit’s presence.
Reproof and rebuke are absolutely necessary because
humanity is still very immature and selfish. Mankind is still full of pride and
prejudice and these enmities need to be killed off. I understand what many of
you experienced earlier in life because I too shared like experiences within
the realm of man's religious institution called the church. In my growth over
the years I have discovered what is commonly referred to as the Church (whether
Catholic or Protestant) is not really the Church described for us by Christ and
witnessed by the early Apostles. Man still builds temples in which to worship
putting on the pale face of mediocre belief. But in the midst of all the
divided houses of god (developed by hirelings), God Almighty pulls out certain
ones to continue the work that Jesus patterned for us so that humanity can one
day ultimately arrive at a real Godfearing maturity. These Godfearing creatures
(men and women) are the ones mostly identified by mainstream shepherds as
apostate and dangerous. Some, like myself, are not
even acknowledged by mainstream shepherds. Why? Because we reject the religious
formulas that man continues to divise and reap great material wealth from and
remain steadfast to the only trustworthy pattern of behavior and teaching we
have in Christ Jesus and His Word. We who understand this and submit to that
are the disciples that were called and though our numbers are few by comparison
to the reported two billion Christians on earth, we continue to pattern and
witness the true gospel of Christ crucified and we still to this day suffer a
great deal by it because the "religious
elite" still do not recognize the truly Spirit filled members of
Christ's body - THE CHURCH.
I have discovered that what is indicated in the New Testament Word by Jesus,
the promises and the warnings of various hatreds and persecutions are all true
and indeed come to pass for the individuals that surrender and submit to the
pattern and teachings of Christ Jesus. Fulfillment takes place and we begin to
realize that these various fulfillments are proof and confirmation that we are
indeed on the "right path of sanctification." In simple words, it
won't look any different in a person’s life than what Jesus described and
promised... that is... if you are on the prescribed path.
Today’s Gentile Christian Pastors, Priests, Bishops and Preachers are not much
different than the Jewish Pharisee's and Saducee's of 2000 years ago. They
still practice partiality and carry with them deep bitterness and resentment
and so they've decided to live "fat" off the people who gather to
hear them boast of their great knowledge while boasting of their acquired
wealth. Elitism is alive and well today and I tell you truly - is as much hated
by God TODAY as it was when Jesus delivered His strong rebukes two millennia
ago. Sadly, the millions that flock to the popular institutionalized Churches
have become slaves to sin all over again. Their selfish desires, lusts and
greed lead far too many astray. That leads me to the last critical aspect of
God's fullest definition of love. True love as defined by the whole of
scripture cannot be made complete without also embracing God's hatreds. This is
crucial and fundamental to us in the maturing process. We cannot afford to be
found loving or embracing what God so hates. His list of hatreds is short and
simple and made clear in the Old Testament Proverbs and also Christ's New
Testament teachings.
Proverbs 6:16-19 “These six things doth the LORD
hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: A proud look, a lying tongue, and
hands that shed innocent blood, An heart that devises wicked imaginations, feet
that be swift in running to mischief, A false witness that speaketh lies, and
he that soweth discord among brethren.”
For over a year now, there has been an ongoing
debate-taking place on my “Message Forum” between myself and a man named,
Rodger Tutt. It has become clear that Rodger is not interested in listening to
sound argument nor applying scriptural remedy or definition. On the outside, he
sounds like a very genuine and sincere man who would probably be a kind man and
a good neighbor. Rodger has almost taken over my message board with repeating
messages promoting the idea of Universal Salvation. In his inability to
effectively argue his case, Rodger uses other men’s written works to support
his belief like James Coram and Ray Prinzing. In fact, Rodger even goes so far
to idolize Mr. Ray Prinzing calling him his “hero.” In a letter of response to
Rodger written in April of this year, I expressed myself boldly warning him of
the consequences of embracing such ideology.
I wrote:
I have given the materials and information you provided
on my Web Forum further thought. I am a very carefully guarded person when it
comes to proper and effective application of the Word of God.
This thought that the Bible teaches us "universal transformation" for
all creatures is bunk. In that ideology, there is no room for maintaining a
properly balanced "fear of God." There must of necessity be a fear of
God in the hearts and minds of the believer because without it, there is no
careful regard for obedience. Love as defined by scripture cannot be truly
achieved if one believes all are saved. Love is an unwavering commitment to abide
a selfless life for God after the pattern Christ afforded us. That pattern He
established does not set us free until we ourselves can abide by it. It
therefore takes a strong and unwavering commitment to do as God wills.
Secondly, only a true believer can grasp the faith of their own salvation but a
non believer who opposes God on all levels cannot begin to understand because
they have been delivered over to a deluding influence. These types reject God
and are thus separated from Him in their willful sin.
Such an ideology as you support would mean that the likes of men as Stalin,
Hitler, Hussein and such will be redeemed and saved by the grace of God. I
hardly think so because God promised long ago that "vengeance was His and
that He would repay." The souls of the martyred saints beneath the altar
before God's throne as depicted in Revelation cry out for vengeance and God
promises - "a little while longer until the last of their brethren and fellow
servants is killed." There is and always has been a place reserved
for the condemned and the promised "Lake of Fire"
is no picnic my friend. So, you see, I take great issue with you teaching an
aberrant doctrine, which does not harmonize well with what the whole of
Scripture teaches us.
Furthermore, promoting newer translations of the Holy Bible to somehow show or
prove a universal transformation is vain in itself because understanding comes
from God and His Word needs not to be changed or manipulated in any way. There
are bad translations and I don't use them but I have learned to trust the KJV
and NAS because of their accuracy to the Hebrew and Greek being better than
most. But still, it is the discernment, which comes from God that gives an
individual the ability to understand. The endless futility of man attempting to
understand God before God is ready to reveal Himself
or a matter is fruitless and vain at best.
There is far too much disagreement between what you are teaching and the rest
of Scripture and the historical pattern recorded in it. What you promote puts
the sinner at ease rather than striking fear in the hearts of the unrepentant.
God does make the grace available to all mankind but men must freely choose to
walk in it thereby proving their love for God. There are no free tickets to
heaven.
This is not a “come one - come all - come
as you are invitation.” The whole of scripture reproves us to seek out a
genuine repentance and embrace the selfless love Christ patterned for our
lives... to walk in it. That becomes our love and is a true definition of love
in God's eyes. Look around you Rodger. I don't see a saved world but a fallen
one. We are yet still carnal and walking in our fallen nature until we begin to
see God, for who He truly is - an all-consuming fire towards His adversaries
and a refuge of faith, hope and love to those that obey Him. One type repents
and by faith and through grace becomes saved but the others are saved only for
judgment on the last day. I'm sure many will see grace and mercy as they
account for the lives they were given but many more will also be cast outside
where torment awaits them as their just reward for all their vile and sordid
inequities and unrepentant sins against God and humanity.
"God
loves judgment."
In my rebuttal to Rodger Tutt of his worship to
James Coram’s work, I wrote the following…
Suffering is the wages of our sin and also the plow
that tills our fields churning up all the manure we created in our lives making
ready for the seeds God sows in us. This is not necessarily a bad thing but is
that which brings us around to a fuller understanding of our life and purpose.
Eventually, everyone at some point must acknowledge the futility of his life
without God. He won’t recognize those who don’t at the Great White Throne
Judgment. Not all are or will be saved. This doctrine proposed by James Coram
and supported by Rodger Tutt is heresy because it is absent of the fruit born
out of discipline, which is the result of God's love for us.
There must of necessity be a motivation for fallen man to come to his senses
and repent of his transgression and fallen nature. Without that, there is no
evidence of humility and without humility there lacks the foundation for a
genuine love as defined by God. Man must know and understand the consequences
of his sin and failure, his weaknesses and fears and he must face them in order
to acknowledge they exist before he can repent of his long history of
transgressions.
For the above reasons, universal
transformation a.k.a. universal
salvation cannot be possible for all. There must of necessity be an
appropriate response to God's rebuke before we can move forward into the light.
Coram's work attempts to make null and void all the virtues of God's form of
justice and reward. In Coram's world, everyone lives happily ever after regardless
of his or her sins.
This work by Coram and testimony by Rodger Tutt gets slammed by the correctly
(literally) transcribed Word of God. Adopting dogma of this kind makes weak the
powerful conviction of heart, which accompanies the indwelling Spirit of God
provided as a promise and helper to those who have, will or would inherit
eternal salvation offered us by God and ministered by His angels.
For these simple reasons, I cannot and will not condone their arguments. This
is yet another attempt to make the path of sanctification easier. No one gets
through this life without suffering and maturity results in those who learn to
abide a selfless life after the pattern of Christ. To many of the stubborn
goats on the left side of His throne Jesus will say, "I
never knew you."
Believe the Word of God and not the words or works of men. Where one
contradicts the other, it would be wise to cast out that which was human and
accept only the divine judgment of God. Only then is one assured that what he
believes will be justified by his own faith.
Remember too the faithful words given us, "though
his works may be burned up, yet he shall be saved as from out of the
fire." This applies only to those who truly lived out their lives
according to the faith that is in Christ Jesus. A man's works may be burned up
in judgment but as he lived out his life by faith and through grace - he may in
the end be saved from the eternal fires of judgment.
Lastly, love as defined by God is not complete without the presence of humility
and love does not exist except for those who have a balanced fear of God
residing in their hearts. Anything less is an emotion based upon unbalanced
fears and ignorance. James Coram's work is bunk.
A Second witness steps forward…
A Godfearing sister in Christ, Patti Blount, took it
upon herself to contend with Rodger Tutt and wrote in part: “I challenge you to
ask the Lord what your nervous breakdown was all about. What were your fears,
if you had truly believed that He paid the price, and if you had truly put your
trust in Him alone to bring to you salvation? I think there may be something
else going on here, (inside of you) which prevented you from embracing His
finished work on behalf of your sins… Rodger, my brother, I exhort you to seek
Your Lord about this. Ask Him to search you to see what has caused these fears
you had and sought relief for. I understand desiring relief from negative
feelings. I myself struggle from many fears, and I have gone about finding my
own relief before instead of turning to the Lord to go through them with me.
This is just a stab in the dark, but is it possible that you have an earthly
father-wound? This wound, I am finding out, produces such a gapping hole in our
soul that only the Love of our Father God can mend it. Will you open your soul
up to the gentle, search light of His Spirit? It is there we find alot of
beliefs originate either from our wounds caused by our own sins or from the
sins of others.”
My thanks and humble
admiration to Patti for speaking so boldly yet subtly about the virtues of
Christ’s selfless love and sacrifice. May GOD bless all my brothers and sisters who
continually contend for the faith that was once delivered to the saints.
The Nature of Religious Bondage
Excerpts from Ron & Karen Swartz “Coming out of Egypt” Pt. IV
“People coming out of the religious
bondage of institutional churches are much the same [as the Jews who were led
out of bondage to Egypt
by Moses]. They act like spoiled, arrogant rich kids who have never had to work
a day in their lives. Everything is about them: their happiness, their
spiritual fulfillment, their opinions, and their journey. They see themselves
represented by the earth according to the ancient theories of the universe,
with the moon, sun, and stars revolving around them. Only instead of celestial
bodies revolving around them, it’s God, His promises, His Spirit, and His
Church. These Christians have lost appreciation for their salvation. They are
so preoccupied with their own grandeur they forget that not so long ago they
were slaves to sin.
“The institutional church
is itself a product of self-indulgence. It is what the church would look like
if it were self-centered with an unlimited budget and unconstrained personal
freedom. It is what the church would look like if its only purpose were to be
served by God, rather than to serve others. The church would be fat and
pompous, full of people fixated upon their own personal fulfillment. The modern
Church has therefore fallen into the temptation that Jesus overcame in the
desert when He met with Satan...”
Matthew 4:3 KJV “And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be
the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.”
“What exactly was the
temptation that Jesus faced here? Satan wanted to get Jesus to defend His
authority (“If thou be the Son of God”).
Why? Because if He cared enough to defend His authority or credibility, then
just how far would He be willing to go in its defense?
Jesus was, in fact, the Son of God, so it would seem that there would be nothing
wrong in proving it. After all, is there anything wrong in defending truth? Perhaps. If Jesus had demonstrated His power at Satan’s
prompting, it would only have served to draw attention to Jesus and His own
truth, credibility, and authority, rather than God’s. Satan would have used
this by continuing to bring temptation after temptation that challenged His
authority. Jesus would have become so entangled in proving His authority that
the work of God would have gone undone. But Jesus overcame this temptation by
not responding when His own authority was challenged. Jesus told His disciples,
“The prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing
in me (John 14:30).”
“Unlike Christ,
Christians in religious bondage (Egypt) feel obligated to defend
their own authority and their own truth. Many actually believe that it is their
purpose in life. They know how to fight, how to defend their turf, and they do
so with force and vigor. They fight to defend doctrine, styles of worship,
protocols for their meetings, the authority of their ministries, and their
power over others. They do not seem to understand the correlation between
fighting over their views and the temptation of Christ that challenged His
authority. They do not understand that by defending their views and authority,
they have given in to one of Satan’s fundamental temptations.
“There is never an end
to proving you are right. Satan will make sure of it. He will point to this
person and to that doctrine and to the neighboring churches in order to get you
to fight. You will become so entangled in fighting that you will eventually
forget all about your purpose. You will become so busy turning stones into
bread (i.e., answering challenges to your truth) that your Christianity will
become all about you instead of about God, your truth instead of God’s truth.
Whatever good you might do is lost in your fixation on self.” [And being fixed
on self-leads to another potential hazard; taking on the very image of
Antichrist.]
Excerpts above from
“Coming out of Egypt
Pt. IV by Ron & Karen Swartz
Consider the True Measure of
God’s Treasure
We must stop measuring our treasure by
the pleasure that we treasure, and
move to treasuring the measure of God's pleasure
that He wants us to cherish without measure; for it is His measure of Treasure
that he takes pleasure in measuring to us, so that ultimately our treasure will
be in His pleasure without measure.

The Enemies to Man
Excerpt By William Law
“The enemies to man’s rising out of the fall of Adam
are many. But the supreme enemy, called Antichrist, is self-exaltation. There
has been much speculation to see where and what Antichrist is or by what marks
he may be recognized. To know with certainty what he is not, one need only read
this short description which Christ gives of Himself:
“I can do nothing of myself; I came not to
do my own will; I seek not my own glory; I am meek and lowly of heart.”
“Now if this were Christ, then self-exaltation,
being in the highest and fullest opposition, must be that spirit of Antichrist
that opposes and withstands the whole nature and Spirit of Christ. And although
that particular man who is to be the ultimate embodiment of this spirit may not
be yet upon the earth; nevertheless, no man need look any further than his own
heart to find the same Antichrist which John said was already in the world in
his own day. What therefore has everyone so much to fear, to renounce and
abhor, as every inward breathing of self-exaltation,
and every outward work that proceeds from it?
“Now at what things shall a man look to see that
working of self from which pride gains its power to hinder the birth and life
of the humble Jesus in his soul? Shall he look at the thirst for riches and
honor to see the pride that has the most of Antichrist in it? By no means. These are shameful enough marks of the vain
heart of man; yet, comparatively speaking, they are but the skin-deep follies
of that pride which the fall of man has begotten and brought forth within him.
To discover the deepest root and iron strength of pride and self-exaltation,
one must enter into the secret chamber of man’s soul, where the Spirit of God,
who alone gives humility and meek submission, was denied through Adam’s sin,
thus bringing that death, which came upon all men, for all have sinned. Satan’s
own spirit of self-exaltation became the strong man that kept charge of the
house, till a stronger than he should regain possession.
“Here in man’s innermost being, self had its awful
birth, and established its throne, reigning over a kingdom of secret pride, of
which all outward pomp and vanities are but its childish, transitory
playthings. “It is not those things from without that
defile a man,” said Christ, But out of the
heart comes all the evil of man’s defilement. The inward strong man of pride,
the diabolical self, has his higher works within; he dwells in the strength of
the heart, and here every power and faculty of the soul offers continual
incense to him. Memory is the faithful repository of all the fine things that self
has ever done, and lest any of them should be lost or forgotten, memory is
continually setting them before self’s eyes. Man’s intellect has the entire
world before it, yet goes after nothing but as self-sends it, ever seeing new
projects to enlarge its dominion. Imagination, as the last and truest support
of self, lays unseen worlds at his feet, and crowns him with secret revenges
and fancied honors. This is that satanic, natural self that must be denied
and crucified, or there can be no disciple of Christ. There is not plainer
interpretation than this that can be put upon the words of Jesus, “Except a man deny self, and take up the cross and follow me,
he cannot be my disciple.”
“So great is the blindness which pride brings to the
soul, that helpless creatures feel exalted because of
natural abilities that are given them by God, and boast of such things as
though they were their own. No man has the power to do anything, except by a
life that every moment is loaned to him from God: he has no more power of his
own to breathe or move a hand than to stop the earth or extinguish the sun.
This is the dependent, helpless poverty of man’s state, which is a good reason
for humility. Since God, who gives to all men life, and breath and all that we
possess to ascribe glory to ourselves for these things is to be built both of
stealing and lying. For pride takes to ourselves those things, which only
belong to God, and in denying the truth of our helpless dependence upon Him, we
pretend to be something that we are not.”
The above excerpt by William Law
Isaiah 3:12-15 “As for my people, children are their
oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they, who lead thee, cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths. The LORD standeth up to plead, and standeth
to judge the people. The LORD will enter into judgment with the ancients of his
people, and the princes thereof: for ye have eaten up the vineyard; the spoil
of the poor is in your houses. What mean
ye that ye beat my people to pieces, and grind the faces of the poor? saith the Lord GOD of hosts.”
Updates and Personal News…
I want to thank all of you who participate with me
in my ministry for your patience and understanding while I was away this summer
working on the water saving lives and assisting distressed boaters. I was also
engaged in quite a different ministry venue this summer while performing my
duties as Captain with Vessel Assist. There always seems to be the occasion
where God uses me to fellowship with other brethren I’ve not met before and
from time to time, doors open to witness my deep and unyielding love for Christ
to others. I meet people of all ages and continue to freely share what God has
so abundantly shared with me.
This year was also a year that produced an abundant
salmon harvest. To those of you who are familiar with salmon species, it was a
“Humpy year.” Humpy is the nickname given for the “Pink Salmon” species and
they run every other year in abundance. This year proved however to be a
phenomenal year and I broke my own personal catch record landing 76 fish. Six
of those fish were King (Chinook) salmon which I promptly froze for winter food
stores. The rest however were Pinks and my smoker was working non-stop from the
15th of August through the 17th of September. I gave away
more than half of my smoked salmon to many others that cannot fish for
themselves. It is yet another part of my relevant ministry whereby I can share
an abundant portion of my harvest with family, friends and neighbors. I’m
pleased to say that everyone loves the end product and appreciates the many
hours I spend cleaning, filleting, brining and smoking the fish. When the fish
are in, I generally am up 18-hour days processing and vacuum packing my smoked
product. It is costly but also edifying to share such abundance with others.
This of course was all accomplished in the midst of my busy rescue/towing
season leaving little time for office work.
The last little tidbit I’d like to share with you
all is that an opportunity struck for me to join Captain and crew aboard the
Tall Ship – Lady Washington on her coastal passage south from Aberdeen, WA to San Francisco, CA.
The Lady
Washington is a “square rigger” and a wooden ship of sail modeled after the 18th century
wooden sailing vessels. I shall be out to sea for two weeks in the latter half
of October learning the nuances of square rig handling.
My desire and hope is to be a regular part of her
officer compliment during winter rotations in a year or two. I applied after I
heard the foundation that owns the Lady Washington and Hawaiian
Chieftain were short on captains. Since I have the appropriate license
and auxiliary sail endorsements I thought I would diversify a bit and spend
some time at sea ministering to the youth volunteers and paid crew which
accompany the vessels wherever they travel. I will be on board this passage as
a volunteer shadowing the assigned captain (if permitted) and learning the
ropes! So, if some of my writing style in the near future gets seasoned with a
little too much salt… you’ll know from where it came and why.
At the very least, this will be quite an adventure
and another childhood dream fulfilled. Of course, I’ll take many digital
pictures and find a place for them somewhere on my website. To those of you who
were wondering about last year’s trip to Israel
and Jordan,
I have not forgotten my promise to also publish a visual tour and commentary of
that wonderful trip. That is turning out to be a much bigger project than I had
anticipated so please be patient with me. In the mean time… don’t hesitate to
write back and or call me for questions and/or fellowship. The best email
address to use is still svshalom@earthlink.net or you may call me
direct and leave a message on my office phone at (253) 627-1816.
With all sincerity and
love for the truth and our scattered brethren abroad,
Nicholas A. Stivers, a humbled God fearing man, scribe and messenger.
