A Father's Suffering and a Son's Discipline

Brethren, listen to what wisdom the Father pours out upon His sons. Fathers listen to your children and heed our Master's example. Mothers nurture your children and let nothing distract you from your duty. Children, listen to your parents for they are given responsibility over you for a time. Let no man/woman, fallen angel or principality pervert the love inside our households. I speak to you all as a man who has been terribly humbled by the ongoing perversion of our youth in contemporary society. The enemy seeks to devour and destroy what good is being accomplished by corrupting our households and turning our sons and daughters against us. The "destroyer" manipulates young minds under the guise of education and opportunity and enters the hearts of untrained youth further tempting them and leading them into pits of darkness. Guard your households oh men of God! Husbands and wives watch over each other and abstain from selfish pursuits. The love of money will give homage to evil seeking to reside in your hearts and homes. I am writing to you to warn of the conquering advance the enemy is making among our ranks.

I humbly confess that I once thought the pursuit and practice of true righteousness in one's life guaranteed that a man's family would be protected from dark and alluring spirits entering into our youth and households. I must tell you that it does not. In fact, the likelihood of becoming more a target of attack is evidenced by what I have seen take place within my own household. Since coming aboard with Cephas Ministry and reaching out to a broader population around the planet ministering the gospel of Christ crucified, I have been under a barrage of challenging issues regarding my own children. It seems as though Satan is really ticked off and hell-bent on destroying the fruit that grows from "my tree of life."

I recently caught my 14-year-old son in two transgressions that really caused me to slow down and consider carefully what was taking place. It literally hit me like a rogue wave and knocked me on my butt! This was not a one-time event but something that was taking place over the course of several weeks and months. It was most embarrassing to me and caused some degree of shame and humility to rain upon my family. Without going too deep into the dirty laundry, let me just say that I discovered he was stealing cash proceeds from our employer and has developed a strong desire for Internet porn. Needless to say, I needed to hear from God more than ever on these matters and I am pleased to share with you the direction He provided and understanding that came to me.

First off, what my son did was not uncommon to young lads his age but was in-fact very typical of teenage boys who are undergoing major hormonal changes and powerful peer influences. I can honestly identify with the increasing sexual appetite that he is undergoing at his age, as this is common and quite natural for young boys. In many countries outside North American culture, boys and girls his age are betrothed and married. This practice has gone on for millennia and it seems to be timed well within the physical maturity of young children. In North America, children are typically subjected to 13 years of schooling before they turn the age of 19. When a child reaches the age of 18 years, he/she is considered a young adult but is not totally free to do as he/she wishes until they are 21 years of age. The drinking age for example is 21 in America and 19 in Canada yet our 18 year old children are qualified to join military service and be sent out to handle lethal weapons designed to kill other human beings (supposed enemies).

What is more difficult for me to identify with was the stealing of company funds. This of course ranks high on the crime charts and bears stiff penalties in any country if caught. Needless to say, severe disciplinary measures were called for and tough penalties had to be administered if there was going to be any chance of redemption and restoration of trust. The goal was to kill the enmity, which had entered his heart and insure the "fear of God" was restored in him. Though at first he was lying and trying to hide from his guilt, the evidence against him was so overwhelming that he could not avoid the facts. He finally confessed and with some effort on my part, I got the details out of him and insisted that he take this upsetting news to our employer and be prepared for the consequences. With much crying and many tears, he confessed his wrongs and was able to beg for leniency but understood that he would have to pay for his crime.

With my cooperation, my son has been assigned a schedule of payback for the funds which he confessed taking and must also choose a place to perform community service of 80 hours. Furthermore, he must take all the toys and computer games which he bought with the stolen funds and sell them off to assist in paying back the $750.00 he lifted from the cash drawer over the course of several weeks. I do not think it right that he should possess and enjoy the items that were purchased with the stolen money. At least half of the pay back must come from earned wages at another job. Additionally, he must also agree to attending a crime awareness program sponsored by the local police department and if offered, will tour the local county jail and youth detention facilities so that he can get a clearer picture of what it looks like on the inside of the systems remedy to crime. I want my son to be fully aware of the outcome of transgression and I have promised that should he fail in fulfilling his restitution, I would not stop or avert in anyway the employers promise to press charges and deliver him up to the criminal court justice system. Sounds harsh? You bet it is but if I don't follow through with this, what value has my love for him? If I did not see to a swift and severe recompense for his sin then he will likely continue this pattern of transgression and I would have created a monster to society! How much worse would his sins against society and humanity be if this went on unchecked? Fathers and mothers, are you listening?

How does the Father of Heaven deal with His sons? The answers are real clear in scripture. Hebrews 12:4-13 "Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin. And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaks unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him: For whom the Lord loves he chastens, and scourges every son whom he receives. If ye endure chastening, God deals with you, as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chastens not? But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons. Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh, which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live? For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness. Now no chastening for the present seems to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby. Wherefore lift up the hands, which hang down, and the feeble knees; and make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed."

This kind of "tough love" is how God has dealt with me. God is a hard teacher and He desires our perfection and refining in order to truly glorify His Name. The story of Saul's conversion who later became Paul of Tarsus is a beautiful story and relevant in this context. You may recall that a certain man named Ananias of Damascus was told to go meet with Saul and heal him of his blindness. God also told Ananias that Saul was a chosen instrument and that he would suffer much for His namesake. Acts 9:15-16 "But the Lord said unto him, "Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel: For I will show him how great things he must suffer for my name's sake." It is clear that Saul, who became Paul, suffered much while remaining faithful unto the end of his life and this in part was the penance he had to pay for his despicable crimes against the followers of Christ Jesus (Christians) when he was serving as a puppet to the Pharisees. When Saul was blinded by the light on his way to Damascus, Jesus spoke to Him asking him a question; Acts 9:4-5 "And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, "Saul, Saul, why art thou persecuting me?" And he (Saul) said, Who art thou, Lord?" And the Lord said, "I am Jesus whom thou are persecuting: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks." Also take note that in verse 15 we have the first indication that God was inviting the Gentiles into His New Covenant arrangement much to Peter and the other disciple's surprise.

As I have written in prior exhortations, many mistake judgement as being utter condemnation. This is not so for God's Word is clear that "He loves judgement." The psalms and proverbs are the best examples we have that show us God's judgment in our lives is His love for us and it is necessary to lead us down the pathways of sanctification. You can more easily apply the concept of God's judgments on us then to be His discipline towards us for "He chastens every son whom He receives."

If that is not clear enough for you then remember what the following passage confirms for us regarding our propensity to sin willfully. Hebrews 10:23-39 "Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. For if we sin willfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more a sacrifice for sins, But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace? For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. But call to remembrance the former days, in which, after ye were illuminated, ye endured a great fight of afflictions; Partly, whilst ye were made a gazing-stock both by reproaches and afflictions; and partly, whilst ye became companions of them that were so used. For ye had compassion of me in my bonds, and took joyfully the spoiling of your goods, knowing in yourselves that ye have in heaven a better and an enduring substance. Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompense of reward. For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise. For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry. Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul."

The purpose then is so that we may achieve the will of God there-by glorifying Him. We must be patient and long suffering, praying that the Father fulfill His will in our lives if we are ever to receive the blessed promises. The following passage indicates clearly that Jesus not only suffered much before being nailed to the stake (cross) but that He too, learned obedience by the things, which he suffered. This then brethren is the very example we are to remember and follow after. Hebrews 5:7-14 "Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared; Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him; Called of God an high priest after the order of Melchizedek. Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing. For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. For every one that uses milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil."

Hear Me My Son…

Proverbs 4:1-27 "Hear, ye children, the instruction of a father, and attend to know understanding. For I give you good doctrine, forsake ye not my law. For I was my father's son, tender and only beloved in the sight of my mother. He taught me also, and said unto me, Let thine heart retain my words: keep my commandments, and live. Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth. Forsake her not, and she shall preserve thee: love her, and she shall keep thee. Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. Exalt her, and she shall promote thee: she shall bring thee to honor, when thou dost embrace her. She shall give to thine head an ornament of grace: a crown of glory shall she deliver to thee. Hear, O my son, and receive my sayings; and the years of thy life shall be many. I have taught thee in the way of wisdom; I have led thee in right paths. When thou goest, thy steps shall not be straitened; and when thou runnest, thou shalt not stumble. Take fast hold of instruction; let her not go: keep her; for she is thy life. Enter not into the path of the wicked and go not in the way of evil men. Avoid it, pass not by it, turn from it, and pass away. For they sleep not, except they have done mischief; and their sleep is taken away, unless they cause some to fall. For they eat the bread of wickedness, and drink the wine of violence. But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day. The way of the wicked is as darkness: they know not at what they stumble. My son(s) attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. Put away from thee a froward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee. Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee. Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established. Turn neither to the right hand nor to the left: remove thy foot from evil."

Many parables were used by Jesus to describe finite details of desired relationship between the Father and His children. One of my favorites is the symmetry between the care that goes into tending a vineyard or fruit trees and their resulting fruits of harvest. In order for the Kingdom to be filled with righteous ones who lived by faith, branches and vines not producing fruit must be taken out, cut off and burned because if left on the stalks and trees, they would drain the rest of the good tree or vines from the necessary nutrients needed to produce a healthy harvest. This too, serves as a picturesque example of righteous judgment, discipline and refining. The focus then is on bringing the field of fruit bearing trees and vines to maturity. The health of the vineyard is paramount because sick or diseased vines and limbs can adversely affect the good parts of the tree or vineyard reducing the quality of harvest. We are called to do the same and produce righteous fruit for our Master and not waste the nourishing waters, which He rains upon us. Nor should we desire to save that which will only kill the potential health of the vineyard (His body). We must follow the very same example and fundamental application in our own lives and with our children if we ever want to see them become productive (fruitful) members of society and useful Kingdom members. Please heed my advice and stop thinking of your prodigy as "children" to be raised but rather look at them as adults to be raised. Focus on developing maturity lest you stunt their growth. A stunted fruit tree never produces abundance. More can be achieved if we focus on developing a mature vineyard in our children. I exhort you brethren, press on to maturity!

Hebrews 6:1-8 "Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. And this will we do, if God permit. For, it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame. For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God: But that which beareth thorns and briers is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned."

Heed these words for they reveal the outcome of those who "fall away." The Word declares that it is impossible to renew them unto repentance. This is what I describe as condemnation rather than righteous judgment. Judgment infers the possibility of renewal and repentance there-by allowing one to re-integrate as productive citizens after their penance is paid. Condemnation on the other hand is where one is forever lost without the hope of redemption and renewal because as the Word declares, "they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame" all over again (they will continue to practice sin). They continue to practice sin because they are not able to repent (turn away from) because "evil" still resides in their hearts. This is precisely why we as parents must insist on stern discipline and we must be consistent in our application of discipline within the household. When I use the word, discipline, I mean "self discipline" (showing yourself as an example) and "just recompense" (forms of punishment). If you promised your child a particular recompense for the "next time you caught him/her transgressing," you'd better follow through with that promise or your child will not take you seriously and will likely further test your limits. If you are consistently inconsistent, then you are failing in your duty and responsibility to raise up your child in a Godly fashion. God is consistent and faithful. He will always deliver His promises to both, the just and the unjust. So, beware for He is not slack or slow regarding His chastening and He will punish those who are transgressing. This chastening is more easily understood as pruning and or refining. The process ultimately leads to bearing much fruit and that is precisely what is expected when any of us is called of God. Brethren, there is no gray area here. There is no vague speculation or mediocre application. You are either called to disciple after and become witnesses to or you are something less than a mere believer. What are you?

John 15:1-11 "I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. Now ye are clean through the word, which I have spoken unto you. Abide in me and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. Herein is my Father glorified that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love. If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love. These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full."

The Peril of Unbelief

This is my faith and Scripture testifies in several places that anything apart from faith is sin. So, what is your measure of faith? How do you witness the indwelling Spirit of our Father day after day? What sacrifices are you making to insure fulfillment of the Father's will and God's Word in your life? To what extent are you willing to reach out to others or take a stand and make a difference? Do you understand that my usual strong stance on these things is a measure for how much I love you? Many complain and gripe. Some go all out and accuse me of being the accuser but few recognize that I speak from a convicted heart and offer my humble testimonies so that you may learn from and be inspired by my relationship with God. You've heard me say and seen me write, "Rather than asking God to bless America, I am shouting out with a loud voice for America to bless God!" This is exactly what I mean when I say, "bless God." Again, I exhort you that our salvation is a duty and responsibility to God and one another. If I haven't been clear enough for you in the past then I certainly have hit a "long drive" today! If you still don't "get it" then one of two problems exist. One: you are in denial -or- Two: you are full of unbelief. If the latter is true, I'm afraid I cannot help you because God has made a promise for those who are unable to accept these eternal truths.

Luke 12:45-46 "But and if that servant say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; and shall begin to beat the menservants and maidens, and to eat and drink, and to be drunken; The lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder, and will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers."

2 Corinthians 6:14 "Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion hath light with darkness?"

Hebrews 3:12 "Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God."

2 Thessalonians 2:10-12 "And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness."

For those who are full of unbelief and remain that way, Jesus explained that Isaiah's prophecy comes to pass. Matthew 13:12-15 "For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath. Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive: For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them."

But we who are faithful are not among those who "shrink back." It is our faith that delivers us and it is His grace that strengthens our hearts. It is His grace that empowers us to overcome and endure these conflicts and sufferings. We share in our Lord's suffering and we learn obedience by it because we are sons and daughters of the living God or we are counted as illegitimate. Are you the prodigy of a harlot (man's religion) or are you heirs according to the promise of God's Son who became for us our example and faithful testimony? By this did Jesus become our Redeemer and Savior. By His sacrifice do we call on Him and count Him as our Lord. His very example was pleasing to the Father and is what becomes the road map for our own lives. Are you accepting His offering which is the price paid for your soul? If so, be thankful then and do not curse in your tribulations but rejoice in your sufferings for your suffering is not in vain!

The Unchanging Reward of Genuine Faith
Vs.
Denying GOD His Pleasure

Hebrews 11:1-6 "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good report. Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so those things, which are seen, were not made of things, which do appear. By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh. By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God. But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him."

What more is there to say regarding our calling? We are promised suffering and as I have pointed out many times, this is what we must undergo if we are ever to receive our inheritance as sons and daughters of the Most High. When you look at the removal of discipline in the public school system and you witness your neighbors crying and complaining about teachers and administrators laying hands on a child who has been defiant and rebellious, you begin witnessing where we have strayed from our primary duty. It doesn't stop there either because now your neighbor can report you to Child Protective Services if they witness you spanking your children or yelling at them to get their attention. When you see the government continue legislating laws to further control and restrict your ability to administer punishment or discipline, you begin to wonder. When you see the government continue legislating laws to protect transgressors and give the elite further license to steal, cheat and lie, you begin to understand. When you see the growing crowds of gay and homosexual activists gain a voice and demand to keep their freedom to sin all the while witnessing their popularity increase among the general populous without so much as a whimper from Court Justices, you start to get angry. When you hear and see the Supreme Court Justices and others in their league accept the weak and vile argument that there is no place for God or His Commandments within the justice system, then you are faced with a serious choice. When you turn to the failing religious organizations seeking remedy and resolve and they are themselves wallowing in mire and accepting the unacceptable i.e. acceptance of sodomy and engaged in the political affairs of pagan governments, you must be quick to choose. Either you run because evil is gaining a foot hold on society and no one it seems (or very few) has time for consideration to God's will nor Christ's sacrifice or you take a stand and vow to fight like a soldier in Christ should be fighting! If you choose the latter, you will suffer and eventually loose your life for His namesake. If you choose to run, where will you go and how long can you hide?

People! What got hold of my son and entered his heart is happening on a broad scale across this nation and neighboring countries. Do not be deceived for what I am telling you is true. Evil is spreading itself like thick smog and many more are still unaware. Haven't you noticed that the increase in crime is growing by leaps and bounds and is not restricted to just metropolitan areas? It is covering all the land and the peoples in it as far out to the rural areas as our farm lands stretch. Remember the Columbine massacre? These were children living in middle class America! Remember my testimony? It was this incident that got me off my duff and when God's Spirit spoke and said, "Write these things down and exhort these words to as many who will listen." I responded and with much crying and trembling in my heart for I knew God was sending me out to warn the people. He also made it clear that if I did not do this, very much blood would be on my hands!

A year ago, I played off an old script from the movie, "Network." I called for all people everywhere to get off your duffs and go to the window or outside your door and cry aloud, "I'm sick and tired of this and I'm not going to take it anymore!" Well, what are you waiting for? Are you waiting for the government to fix these problems? These Free Masons running our country are part of the problem! The contemporary preachers, pastors and priests are nothing more than Pharisees so don't expect them to heed Christ's example. Remember? They were the ones who crucified Him! It is time for God's Elect to arise and prepare for the third day is now nearly upon us. RISE UP ALL MEN OF GOD AND SPEAK OUT!

Responding to recent concern over Cephas Ministry's Non Profit "Family Foundation" status…

Some will go out of their way looking for a speck in our eye in an attempt to disqualify us in this relevant ministry. The following is my response to a letter regarding our "Incorporated status" being an "entity" of the State. I wish to put this matter to rest once and for all!

Thank you for your inquiry and relevant concern. I admit that I share some of your concern regarding incorporated status of religious organizations and ministries in America. In fact, I have published some of my concerns over this very same matter. It appears that many if not most Ministry organizations are run more like businesses in which a great deal of money is collected by way of tithing and free will offerings only to end up in the hands of corrupted leaders and officers and then only to be squandered on lavish lifestyles and vain purchases. This benefits their personal incomes and lavish lifestyles while preaching on false wealth and prosperity doctrines making examples of themselves and encouraging others to do the same. In the mean time, many whom are flocking into their assemblies to hear these false teachings are giving away their hard earned dollars expecting financial reward all the while the poor and impoverished in surrounding communities are neglected and looked down upon. I consider these practices an abomination and a sharp contrast to what Jesus and His Apostles actually taught and demonstrated. It sickens me to no end!

They are clearly not driven or motivated by truth nor does God's Spirit in their pursuit of worldly ways and teachings convict their deceitful hearts. We at Cephas Ministry are not of this type. Because we thought there might be potential tax-free donations we have made it possible for participants to donate free will offerings to help offset ministry costs. The truth is that 99.975% of all that utilize our vast resources and library do not give! This is a troubling statistic but true. Jesus declared to all regarding the paying of taxes, "the sons of the Kingdom were exempt." Cephas Ministry is legally defined as a "Family Foundation" where by we declare that we do not receive more than 15% of our income via donations or through ministry projects. Posturing ourselves as a 501 (c) (3) Colorado Corporation has allowed us two distinct advantages. One: To legally operate without the burden of paying taxes on what little income we have received without being an offense to God's Word and example. Though we may look large on the Internet, we are very small and all the assets and equipment was purchased by personal income and fits into two small offices run by two God fearing individuals. I hardly think there is any issue here and to insure accountability, we publish annually in the newspaper the outcome of our financial status and results. I tell you truly that our books are as red as Christ's Word is in various red-letter Bible versions. Two: As a Colorado 501 (c) (3) Corporation, we are protected by law from being sued and shut down by offended ministers and religious organizations whose hidden agendas and shame are exposed in the light of God's Word and our work at Cephas. We are still under attack by those proclaiming to be "of Christ" (false Christians, preachers and evangelists) and if we are to continue in the calling and commission God has so ordained, we must allow ourselves to work within the confines of law and not transgress or overtly offend others who also suffer by working within the law.

Cephas Ministry is and has always been a self funded ministry devoted to exposing the Governments hidden agendas and Religious heresies contrasting that with the freedoms and liberties that Jesus afforded us by His example and sacrifice on the cross. We understand our commission and duty is to feed the flocks of believers as opposed to fleecing the sheep. We also are focused on educating all who "have an ear to hear" of the corrupt alliances made between various religious organizations and Government and demonstrate the sharp contrasts to the pattern, teachings and examples given by Jesus and His Apostles.

Regarding your play on the word, "entity," do not be ignorant of the fact that as much as Apostle Paul became a Kingdom subject by way of God's calling, he was also a Roman citizen. I do not boast of my American citizenry and neither do we boast ourselves as Corporate Officers though on paper, we are. We do however apply ourselves shrewdly (wisely) and endeavor always to continue making further separation from worldly things, labels and man-made religious precepts. Because we go where most fear to go and speak out what most refuse to hear, we take what protections and provisions are afforded us and trust that God always allows us to use responsibly the things of the world in an attempt to not offend man's restrictive laws and Christ. Just in case you have trouble accepting our position on that, consider Jesus instructions to His disciples on the use of unrighteous mammon…Luke 16:9-11 "And I say unto you, Make to yourselves friends of the mammon of unrighteousness; that, when ye fail, they may receive you into everlasting habitations. He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much. If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?" How we apply ourselves means more to Jesus than what we call ourselves. The State does not dictate to us how we operate, God does and He commands us to obey the laws of man and God. We use what we can to enhance our protection as we fight against the many layers of deception in the world. By virtue, the enemy is large and unforgiving. Let's not be stupid but "wise as serpents and gentle as doves."

This man's gentle reply was unexpected…

Thank you for you thoughtful and sincere reply. I respect your views, but I still say that you are making a public proclamation that you belong to the State, not to God. Your views on working within the Government and the protection of the Government are valid. However, the Constitution of our great land provides that protection for churches already. When we become incorporated we give up that very protection you desire! You give that protection up when you become a corporation. By the way, I too go to a church that is not a church. We also are an entity of our State. This non-church "thing" of Christians is something we must decide on our own. For that I do commend you for at least having a well thought out rational for your actions. Also, I will not judge you. I only give you thoughts to ponder. May Jesus bless your ministry, and may he bless and protect you and your loved ones in these days of trial and turmoil. In Jesus' name, Les

In Summary…

It would seem that some will never become satisfied and always be looking for stain and reproach. To any that desire to look into my life, help yourself. I have kept no secrets and claim to be nothing more than a humbled God fearing man with great faith and conviction who is commissioned by God to deliver His Word. If my witness bothers you or you are troubled by the strength of my message and word usage, I'm sorry, I fear God more than man's insulting attacks and threats. The message I exhort is intended for those who will hear and accept. If your heart is full of doubt and unbelief, let me know and we will pray for your conversion because I know that God desires all would come to repentance resulting in salvation but the truth is that very few will. We are praying for your souls and hope that the wax is cleared of deaf ears and the cataracts are healed that more may see and believe the continued living witness of God's Spirit in human flesh. Glorify yourself in us oh Lord and forgive us of our weakness and error. AMEN

Fighting like a soldier in Christ should be fighting,
