How lovely indeed! From the very center of God’s word comes the very center of God’s message. Trust no man. Trust no prince. Exalt no Nation. For such, one might be destroyed when the destruction befalls us. Though I and others of the same faith may be afflicted by all manner of affliction, though we may be as poor as the dry sands of a dessert or as barren as the womb that cannot conceive, though the devil himself may be in the midst of all this strife and calamity, we trust that our Lord is in the center of our pain, despair and brokenness. Who are we to complain of our plight when we were promised that such would be so? Should we not then rejoice that the chaos and mayhem of our contemporary world is bringing us ever closer to the “end of these days?”
For some Discernment Ministries, the agenda is to promote American value and American justice. Phooey, I say. What American justice? America promotes agendas of “pride” and orchestrates controlled fear of the masses. America justifies itself in the midst of their stealing and raping of its own peoples. America kills and murders others who do not fit the American agenda and justify that as God’s will and moral agenda. What is God’s will in the middle of all this chaos and confusion? It is found right in the middle of God’s Word. The verse that sums up where our alliance should remain is found right in the middle of the Bible! There are 594 chapters before Psalms 118 and 594 chapters after Psalm 118 totaling 1188 chapters. Psalm 118 is in the middle of God’s Word and in the middle of Psalms 118 is verse 8, “It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.” Yes, amen, come Lord Jesus come! Yes, indeed, it would seem that people are being duped and are often times found trusting mere words spoken from man’s lips without seeking to affirm policy or matters of contradictory law.
On the morning of November 4, 2003 we received a call from an angry neighbor and resident of the community where we live. She did not identify herself but was calling in response to a planned event sponsored by Cephas Ministry; “Meet the Author.” The caller inquired if this event was to be held in the Community Development Center here in our quaint little Community Development District (CDD) and we politely answered her questions. With an angry and raspy voice, she stated, “We’ll see about that!”
We had scheduled this event to promote my little known and unpopular book, “Apostasy Revealed.” It was a way to introduce myself to local residents and get involved with a right and just cause. I was going to take this opportunity to discuss with local Florida residents my concerns and disparity over the apathy and apparent indifference regarding the “children” in this laid back town, Zephyrhills. I am attuned to what appears to be an epidemic of sexual promiscuity and severe drug abuse of hard corps recreational drugs like the ever popular, “Ecstasy.” We had done our part by putting forth a $300.00 deposit for the use of the Community Development Center, created an insert for the local neighborhood Newsletter reaching out to over 450 residential homes at the cost of $35.00 plus in materials. As residents, we pay over $800.00 in annual fees to the CDD. This is a mandatory requirement for all local residents who own homes in this project. Note: I am not the home owner but a resident who is entitled to and obligated by this development’s covenantal terms and conditions and therefore am entitled to all the same as any resident in this development including its oppressive rules.
As residents of this community, we are not allowed to have large social gatherings in our own homes because there is a by-law that prohibits any parking whatsoever on the streets. Furthermore, there is no provision made for guest parking anywhere in this development except at and around the clubhouse. The clubhouse then is the logical place to host any type of gathering that one may desire to have. Get the picture yet? If you likened these measures to be those taken by a police state and form of oppressive government then you discerned correctly. This friends, is an accurate picture of our future and is already being established in other neighborhoods across America; the so-called, “land of the free.” It is all about control. Within two hours of that phone call, I received a call from the CDD Manager stating that she was barraged by a number of callers in the development pressuring her to cancel this event and citing so called rules of use regarding permissible activities in the clubhouse. Regarding these “approved” ideas for Clubhouse usage, the CDC Manager (first contact) readily hands out a document entitled “survey,” citing examples of usage. On this document are listed activities such as, Focus groups, Guest Speakers, Bible Study, Luncheons and a host of sports and recreational activities. At the top of this document is a sentence at the end of the first paragraph which states, “We are very eager to hear your interests, ideas and suggestions so please take this opportunity for them to be considered and responded to as we develop our future activities and programs.” I have been told that these activities are for the residents of the CDD but were also informed in the same breath that I could invite personal guests. It is interesting to note that a prayer vigil for the 911 victims was held at the Clubhouse on September 30, 2001 and on August 5th of 2002, a Pasco County Democratic party was held promoting political affairs with a number of party candidates in attendance. That particular event was paid for by the Pasco County Democratic Executive Committee and the East Pasco Democratic Club. No outsiders eh?
The Manager of the CDC who is also a first contact for the CDD is a professing Christian and has stated that she hosts an out of town Bible study for another group of believers. I had three occasions to spar with her on Biblical issues and even shared a few exhortations and gave her a free copy of my book so that she could see for herself what kind of Bible believing, God fearing man I was, thinking this would all support my desire and her decision to support my petition. In our conversations, it became clear to me that she was a “politically correct” person and had divided her “religious” beliefs and alliances with her alliance to the State Government, and Corporate expectations of her superiors. In other words, she was clearly in denial of applying herself to Christ’s most basic and fundamental expectations of the “Christian walk.” I gently reproved her and warned of practicing such a divided alliance because in the end, anyone who serves another agency, corporate institution or government that is clearly opposed to Christ’s commands and expectations of discipleship is himself guilty of denial; denial of Jesus, His will and potentially the Holy Spirit and His direction of our lives. I tell you truly, this is a dangerous path for any of us to travel yet most, not all but most are deceived and misdirected in this way! Lord, have mercy on us for we are being duped!
In that phone conversation with the Manager, she had stated that her phone was a buzz of activity as her superiors were also telling her to cancel this event and take that man off the list. I’ve been told that this event was cancelled because I published this planned activity on the internet at our “Abide in Truth Events” page for Cephas Ministry. When asked if I was planning to bring anyone from the outside, I said, “yes, a few pastors and teachers.” She stated that was “Ok.”
In short, she said my planned event was cancelled due to pressure from a myriad of upset residents calling in and on orders from her superiors. She said, “Nick, had I known that you were going to publish this information outside of this community, I would have denied your request. We can’t just have anybody from who knows where wandering into these facilities unless they are residents or invited guests of residents.”
I waited a few days to let the steam cool down but we did post a cancellation of this event on our internet site immediately, the day of the CDD cancellation. I went in to see the Manager at the CDC and atop her desk was a full color print out of the three or four pages we had advertised on our Ministry site. She claimed that one of those angry residents had printed it for her to see that we were jeopardizing the reputation of the LBCDD. She stated that we were publishing lies and that we were doing damage unnecessarily here. She more than inferred we might be liable. She had also stated that her boss who is the District Manager was really upset but she didn’t know what he was planning to do about all this. When I had asked her for the written policy that I had violated, she could not produce it but said that she would pass on my request to her Boss. I said, “You mean to say that you don’t have a policy manual of governing rules for use of the Clubhouse?” She replied, “Not a policy book but it would likely be found somewhere in the years of Board Member meeting notes and minutes and she wouldn’t know the first place to start looking. I asked her, “Just how many people are you referring to when you said your phone was ringing off the hook?” She did not know precisely but indicated that it might have been somewhere between 10-20 and that her supervisors were all over her case. I stated, “If it were only 10 or 20 and you have 400-500 homes here that got the letter then that still indicates that it was a small minority. My letter was an invitation not a mandatory meeting! If someone does not want to come then, don’t come!” I also told her that I was prepared to track interested parties by name and phone number so that we knew how many people we would need to accommodate. I was also offering home made cookies, coffee and tea for participants. This was a peaceful, planned event and because of a small minority of busybodies with nothing better to do but get upset, the whole tenor of a friendly neighborhood has been changed!
In September, I pursued the possibility of hosting a weekly bible study at this same Center for local residents and petitioned for this cause. To date, my request has been ignored and someone seems to be back stepping the advertised uses of this facility. The Manager had come across with lots of objections and fears of having a Bible Study and one of them was that others would want to come in and start holding witches meetings! She had even stated that they could not promote Christmas parties but had to call them “Holiday Parties.” Good grief!
“Really,” I asked? So, its ok that we can host “Halloween” parties for the local kiddies and adults but it’s not ok to have a “Christmas” party because that would offend the local residents who do not want to have anything going on that would even remotely suggest “Christ” is in the picture. Oh, but it is ok to have a “Holiday” party and even put up a tree with all its adornments but we cannot nor do we dare call it a “Christmas” party! By using this analogy, please do not misunderstand me as one who promotes or upholds the continued practice of ancient pagan traditions. It is only noteworthy here that anything remotely resembling a Christian faith has been banned and is indeed under attack by the deceptive and secular forces of man and Satan’s agenda. Needless to say, we were cancelled by another manipulative governing body whose long reaching arm of rule restricts the private and public expression and practice of faith in an otherwise law abiding manner. Are you getting the picture? Do you see what has really happened here? Do you think that this is an isolated event or practice in the so-called land of the free, a place called America? HORSE PUCKEY!
Well now, today’s “Board Meeting” was very revealing indeed. Cephas was able to attend and we recorded the meeting unbeknownst to anyone else. The quality of the recording is not very good but sufficient to refer back to for notes. We also took notes during this meeting. My stomach aches and feels like it is convulsing as I write you this follow-up to our disparaging testimony.
After a return call from the CDD District Manager, I was led to believe there may be a chance of rescheduling my planned, “Meet the Author” event? This man was very polished, cordial and likable over the phone. In fact, he even went as far to say, “Well, I don’t know what she (CDC Manager) was thinking. I misunderstood what actually took place. I am sorry this happened Nick.” We’ll get back to you after the meeting. Well, forget it, that’s not going to happen after today’s little politicking. Why I continue to believe the best of and for man only to be unceasingly let down by man is totally beyond my comprehension. When I prayerfully asked my Lord tonight about this, He said, “Do not expect to be treated any better than I was. I already told you the world you see is dead and is dying.”
In a nut shell… After the Clubhouse Manager had told me she was never invited to these meetings, she not only showed up but her mouth ran amuck of her own desire, intentions and recommendations. It was clear that she was speaking to her own agenda and not for all the residents in the CDD. She was acknowledged in the meeting for doing a good job with hosting a “Nutrition event,” complete with outside speakers and it seems that her agenda was more important than anyone else including the residents who attended today. Thinking out loud… (It’s ok for her to have whatever kind of meetings she wants in the Clubhouse because she is an important employee and forget the residents). Her Boss and the rest of the committee appeared to be fully accepting of all her recommendations. In attendance was her Boss who is the District Manager, three other members who remained unnamed, herself, four couples and Cephas. One member of the Board was absent. Also noteworthy was an attending Sheriffs officer. Someone asked the Sheriff, “Why are you here, are you expecting trouble?” All except Cephas responded with laughter. His presence was highly unusual and left us with the impression that someone was indeed expecting trouble. He did not participate in the meeting in any other way. It was also noteworthy that the “Boss” was careful never to mention his own name during this meeting; indicating that he does not want to be held directly responsible for anything said. He was purposely vague and non committal.
When he gave his part of the presentation, he made it clear that they had no rules as of yet, but one lady, a resident, piped up and insisted we needed rules now! The bulk of the meeting was full of dull, boring agenda items and seemed to lack any comprehensive, proactive management direction. We are not sure who was responsible for taking the minutes because no one was writing and it did not appear anyone was openly recording this meeting. The “Boss” continued his vague babble and beat around the bush with regards to appropriate use of the Clubhouse. He stated at one point “Of course we’re not going to stop anyone from having a Bar mitzvah but there cannot be any sales activities, religious activities or political meetings.” Of course this very statement must have been a slip of the tongue. If a Bar mitzvah is not a Jewish religious activity (celebration) then what is it? It was also suggested that any planned parties must have a list of selected individuals who are “known” friends that can prove they were invited and that “list” must be approved and signed off by non other than the Clubhouse Manager. It was also agreed by the Board members that anyone found in violation of these rules will loose their Clubhouse privileges. However residents are still expected to pay their $860.00+ in improvement and maintenance taxes to the CDD annually. At the close of the meeting, Cephas suggested if Bible studies or Bible anything is not permitted then Management needs to strike out any indication that that possibility exists as presented in their own public solicitation and handouts. The Boss insisted that there was no documentation anywhere indicating that Bible studies were permitted. Yet, we are in possession of such a document entitled, “Survey.”
After the meeting, Cephas asked, “So, What you are saying is that there can be no Bible studies, sales parties or political meetings?” The Boss said, “That’s right.” Cephas further questioned, “Then why were we lead to believe that we could have Bible studies by what you have presented in your Clubhouse handouts?” He lied and denied that they have any documentation whatsoever indicating that Bible studies are permitted. Cephas did not argue at this point but permitted this man to hang himself by his own words. If he was not aware of this documentation then perhaps this was something drawn up by the Clubhouse Manager who is held in high esteem by her superiors and allowed to run this show as though she were a high Priestess.
Liars, liars, liars, covering up their mistakes and trying to put out fires. Little do they know, they have actually fueled one and it is likely to burn out of control (figuratively speaking). Say, you don’t suppose that Management would be upset if I decided to relax out by the pool while I was sharpening my sword do you? Does anybody have the brass to post signs around the neighborhood “Bibles Forbidden” in the CDD? How long will it be before they start erecting a wall with electrified razor wire skirting the top? Maybe they can do like the Filipinos have done in wealthy Manila suburbs and embed broken glass across the top of their walled structures. Will God fearing, Bible believing Christians have to start wearing crucifixes on their lapels to positively identify ourselves like Hitler had done with the Jews? Does anybody even care about this atrocity and other like scenarios taking place across America; once called “Land of the brave, home of the free?”
Hot Off the Press! This just in… 9:32 PM EST, C-SPAN Television from an earlier broadcast today, 11.18.03 a caller brought Justice O'Connor to people's attention and her attempt to usurp the Constitution in future deliberations. The caller stated that he felt defeated as an American citizen. "What are we fighting for?" he asked. A quick research brought the following statements to light. Supreme Court Justice, Sandra Day O'Connor, in a speech on May 15, 2002, said: "No institution of government can afford now to ignore the rest of the world. The importance of globalization should not be underestimated. 30% of our gross domestic product is internationally derived. We operate today under a large array of international agreements and organizations: the U.N. Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods, NAFTA, the World Trade Organization, the Hague Conventions on Collection of Evidence Abroad and on Service of Process, and the New York Convention on Enforcement of Arbitral Awards, to mention only a few. " October 31, 2003 O'Connor told the 450 Southern Center guests at the J.W. Marriott Hotel: "I suspect that over time, we will rely increasingly -- or take notice at least increasingly -- on international and foreign law in resolving domestic issues. " In other words the Constitution is becoming obsolete. The Aberdeen News complained that the problem lies with Democrat's choices. What they didn't bring up was that Justice O'Connor was picked and placed by Republican President Reagan. The subject matter under discussion at C-SPAN was about militant or civilian combatants and that they cannot receive legal counsel of any kind. Anyone in the world could be picked up off the street and detained without the rule of law. O'Connor recently assumed a role in a case and won due to her ability to swing the vote of the Supreme Court. Her position is that the US is trying to come in line with the newly created office by the United Nations under the Clinton Administration: 'The World Court' which supercedes the US Constitution. She apparently stated that we have to come in line with the rest of the world. Is your stomach having problems now? Yeah, I know…
I am angered and incensed at this debauchery of Christian faith, and so-called American liberty and justice! What liberty? I cry out? What justice, I proclaim? Faith? Yeah right, faith, in a system of lies, idolatries and harlotries! Oh, how the devil loves American hypocrisy! I have been writing for years now exposing this same kind of undermining taking place in a country whose agenda is only to lead the elite and poor of neighboring Nations into a “New world Order.” Welcome to Babylon!
As all this scenario was playing out, it is noteworthy to mention that in the middle of this disparaging conflict, we were being hit by modest tropical winds passing through the area which was the remnant of “Tropical Storm, Nicholas.” As I am writing this exhortation, the skies are lit up with thunder and lightening and the rain outside can be best described as the sound of “many rushing waters.” Meteorological and atmospheric events such as these are not uncommon to me when I am in the heat of battle and quite often become an inspiration to me to continue “fighting the good fight.” By making this analogy, I do not want anyone to think that I am over spiritualizing the events of a day or the ministry I am thus engaged in. I artistically applied this metaphor only to paint a clearer picture of words for you, the reader. Please do not think that I have anything to do with the wind that rages and the fires that consume or the ground that quakes. I do not bring these things about and I most certainly do not have the power to affect any of the planet’s natural mechanisms. I am however often in the middle of such events and it is noteworthy that many events of man-made and natural disaster have come to pass and unbeknownst to me at the time, utterance and words written were indeed prophetic in nature.
To further demonstrate what I am declaring, it is noteworthy that a year ago last fall, I wrote a series of letters to known associates and brethren that this years forest fires would be noteworthy and that the number of storms and earthquakes would continue to rise. As we entered spring of 2003, six states in the Deep South were rocked by a rare earthquake causing minor damage and the same region saw an increased proliferation of destructive tornados breaking all previous records in American history. We saw just a month ago, the east coast of the US get hit hard by Hurricane Isabel (making landfall September 18th and it passed directly over Wash. D.C. leaving behind a swath of death and destruction not seen since hurricanes Hugo and Andrew leveled large areas of Gulf and East Coast real-estate in 1989 and 1992. The forest fire season began in Arizona this year and is still yet not over as evidenced by the recent path of destruction left behind in Southern California. Has anybody caught on to the recent geologic changes taking place beneath the waters of Lake Yellowstone? Of course these events are not at all limited to North America. In fact, all of my exhortations and warnings in “Apostasy Revealed” are utterances spoken to the mass of humanity on the planet. The warnings are to the Nations of Gentiles and also their neighboring allies. The warnings are also intended for the mass of humanity that is calling themselves Christian so that those with discernment may understand they have been given notice. That’s right; I meant that exactly as it reads. There is no need to read between the lines when I am direct and forthright with the Holy Spirit’s utterance.
Some of my pain and despair is rooted in the fact that I am not heard by many because I am just a common man with no political favor or notable fame and I do not boast of a PhD or support the divisive religions of men and engage myself in popular mainstream Christianity; ecumenicalism, patriotism or socialism. I am simply put, a “God fearing” man with a hugely convicted heart that carries some degree of the pain and suffering that Christ Jesus carried to the cross (stake). Because I so chose to serve Him faithfully, He has somehow chosen me to serve as a messenger and scribe. I know that I am not alone and I have brothers out there that share in the same commission. We are Disciples of Christ Jesus.
What I do in this form of ministry is the fruit and result of His Spiritual giftings and my use and application thereof. In no way do I do any of this for monetary gain or prestige nor do I seek to tickle people’s ears though I understand the necessity to comfort one another as we see our like minded brethren and fellow workers get jailed, killed, shut down and smeared all for the cause of what used to be a hidden political agenda. Now, the enemy’s once hidden agenda is not so secret and there are a few who are joining our ranks from both the Jewish and Christian camps. Of those that are leaving their once favorite ideological beliefs and political/religious institutions, they are making the necessary separation in order that they may be counted among the legitimate children of God allowing themselves to be led by God and learning how to trust that which will never fade away; His eternal, abiding Word. We are servants of the living God who have awakened and escaped the deception of Satan’s “matrix.” We are so longing in our hopes and expectation of God fulfilling every promise and finally bringing this apostasy to an end that we are expecting this to happen in a relatively short period of time. It needs to because at our current rate of propagation, we will soon no longer be able to economically support the ever increasing numbers of peoples and their dietary/economic needs. Various disease and epidemics are increasing as rapidly as morality is decreasing and these days as we are promised, will be cut short on the account of God’s elect.
I ask you, what camp are your friends and neighbors in? How about your children and parents, what camp do they reside in? Are your employers or employees God fearing people who are just as concerned about the signs of the times we are all witnessing? What camp do you think the leader of this country, President Bush is in. Do you believe his lying tongue that he is a Christian and starts out everyday with prayer? What did President Bush have to say about the recent fires in southern California?
In an Associated Press report dated November 4, 2003, the President visits the devastated area of burned out neighborhoods in southern California and is quoted as saying to some firefighters, “We’ve seen the worst of nature and the absolute best of mankind.”
Really, Mr. President? Is that what you really believe? Accompanying this report was a picture of the President’s face which seems to show his heartbreak and compassion for the lost lives and millions of dollars in property losses. The first thing I want to point out is that these fires were not a freak accident of nature but were in fact started by man’s hand and subversive agenda. It may even be connected to the plight of the bark beetle which has caused massive destruction and disease in these forested areas of Southern California. The only way to effectively eradicate this pest and spread of disease and dying trees is to burn the affected areas and then allow nature to take its course. I mention this only as a plausible motivation but do not declare this to be the real cause. The second thing I wanted to point out is that this in no way is the “worst” of anything; albeit man or nature. I do not take away from the firefighters who worked long and hard on the front lines trying to minimize the damage. Their efforts are noteworthy and without them, the damage would be much greater.
The result of this will of course be huge reported losses in the insurance industry later justifying an ever increasing premium to insurers across this country. At what point are people going to wake up to the reality that every one of us has some part or role to play in feeding the corrupted elements of man’s society and beastly agenda? In this drama, more and more of your hard earned dollars are lost and spent on the vanity of so called protection in the insurance industry and are not limited to that alone. The same holds true for the related increasing expenses of medical care, pharmaceuticals and social health and welfare programs and agencies. Aside from the billions of tax payer dollars supporting another unjust war, your money is going out other doors. That’s really where your money is spent America. Wake up and smell the dung in the box of ripened fruit! We are being duped and led to believe that the leaders of this Nation and their constituents have our best interests in mind. If you or others choose to remain asleep and lie under the shady oak that’s fine. But for all who are as concerned as I am about the degradation of society and where the morality is dissipating, I am not asking any to pray that God should bless America. I am shouting with a loud voice that America should bless God and do it soon lest we see the horrific kind of destruction and devastation promised on a biblical scale never before witnessed by man. How many of you actually believe that these things that were promised won’t take place soon? Do any of you think that we’ve seen the worst of nature as the President declares? I got news for you from heaven’s angelic messengers and this news is to all humanity and every living soul on the planet. “Awaken sleepers!”
There is none that should be left out in the dark regarding the hearing of God’s Word. If any so choose to close their ears to understanding and eyes to perception, then they are rejecting the last and final warning spoken by God’s elected messengers and appointed scribes. In order for any to believe the validity of what is being exhorted by His messengers, he or she must accept that the agency of man and man’s heart in general is terribly deceived and wicked and for the most part selfish in nature. He or she must also recognize that this planet is not currently ruled by God but is in the hands of the evil and corrupt elements of Satan and all his fallen assembly. His mission is to take out as many souls as he can because he knows his hour approaches and he’s not going down alone! So the choice then is to decide which role or part you want to play in.
Remember the movie, “Network?” A News Anchor man proclaimed to the national viewing audience, “I’m sick and tired of this and I’m not going to take it anymore!” He solicited the Nation’s TV viewing audience to go to their closest window, open it up and shout out as loud as you can, “I’m sick and tired of this and I’m not going to take it anymore!” Well, what are you waiting for, a special invitation? You’ve already got it! I beg you all please to call a friend and forward this email. Don’t be afraid to forward anything I send you. As God freely shares with me, so, I freely share with you. It doesn’t stop there so get out of your chair and go to your window and shout out as loud as your voice will carry, “I’m sick and tired of this and I’m not going to take it anymore!” Stand up and be counted as children of promise and let’s all stop kidding ourselves that everything is alright! It’s not and you know what the right and just thing is to do. Don’t you dare lie down and be like door mats or pretend that America is any better off than Afghanistan or Iraq. This country’s political agenda is part of the problem and I tell you true, America’s hands are stained with very much blood. No wonder judgment is sweeping the land and the churches are crumbling. We are casting the one true God out of this country and I am here to proclaim that this will produce utter devastation.
Are you in love with all the riches and mammon of this world or are you one who is not heard by the worldly because you are not of this world? What are you? Do you know? Can you hear the Shepard’s voice or are you hard of hearing? Have you heard that sin is safe lately or is sin still considered to be sin? Which camp are you and your neighbors and relatives in, I ask? Are you an American patriot or more like a man without a country? What are you? Are you longing for restoration and revival of the same old crap or are you seeking utter reformation to the fundamental application of FAITH (TRUST) in Christ crucified? What is it that your hearts most desire? Are you seeking peace and safety or do you want to see the Kingdom come? What gains are made if there is no pain? Does God not chasten us even to the point of becoming sore? Are His wounds not more faithful than the charismatic and seductive words of politicians and the religious right? If discipline is absent from your life, do you feel God’s loving presence? Do you think you are there yet or have you even begun your journey? Are you at rest and feeling at peace with your religious venues or are you on the front lines with the few who are soldiers for Christ’s sake? Is your sword one that draws blood and kills men before repentance can be achieved or is your sword the word of God which is promised to bring our enemies to their knees?
1 Peter 3:11-18 “Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it. For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil. And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good? But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled; But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear: Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ. Romans 12:1-2 “ I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”
